The color of that iris, very intricate. Or maybe it's just the texture of it. So far it's the eye that catches my attention rather than the scales and the rigid lines near the eye. But this is very well drawn. I don't like dwelling so much 'how it's been done' because it really is all 'what's the meaning behind this picture.' Taking a closer look at something, especially an eye is really fascinating. You what they say: "The eyes are the windows to a person's (or another creature in this case) soul." Very fascinating concept. Art doesn't have to have a logical explanation. It all comes from imagination. Whatever stirs your emotions; that's what can make you do art. (if you know what i mean).lol anyhow, good job on this. |

Wheee!Attempted to draw out Edge... it didn't turn out as I wanted it to. Oh well.. That's the hazzards when working with some of these boards I guess.

*LAUGHS*Gigandas: Aw man, that's a great idea since yes, he does look a bit younger. Yeah I was wondering about the little fabric thing myself only AFTER I posted it. But yes.. let's ignore that fact for now. oversoul trump: Ohhh.. smoother lines, got it! Hmm.. maybe if I used colored lines instead of the straight black..?

Haha! Good stuff. When I first played FFIV on SNES, I was around nine years old. I thought Edge was a surgeon, since I didn't really know what ninjas were back then. And Cid looked like some sort of strange potato man, and Cecil was a duck. Hahaha! Classic memories.

Like he said, it DOES look like paper cut outs, it's totally neat. I don't know if I like the people so much, but it is pretty cute. I really like the background and the trees...neat-o!

I... I... I almost just had a heart attack @_@ My computer froze up, and usually when it does that, java crashes or my computer restarts so I can't get my image back. If it would've done that, I probably would've cried. Oh yeah, this is my first attempt at semi-realism. I pretty much used one of Thecrimsonking's pictures as a reference, but I changed a few things. O.O *starts cracking up at the lips* You're right. You kept messing up the lips. I was laughing the entire time you tried to draw his lips. Anyways, this looks so realistic! It's great! I especially love his eyes. =) Sure they're too green for who you're doing, but they're so sparkly!

Yeah, my getaway place would be somewhere tropical...but remote. This place looks like it would be scary as hell at night lol...I can already see a chainsaw killer smiling in the window back there. :P ..ANYWAYS, this came out very nicely.Like everyone else has said, the textures are what makes it. The road stands out to me for some reason.
