Freedom
GreenEye
(Feb 19, 2006)
The pattern on her neck means Freedom...
~Wolf~ (Feb 19, 2006)
This is sooo cool. I like the designs too.
suzie (Feb 19, 2006)
She is very beautiful. The designs on her are very stylish and I like her leg shape near the hooves. :D
Sweetcell (Feb 19, 2006)
From the thumbnail I thought it was a Gryphon type creature, my bad. It's a lovely horse, I love the patterns but especially the markings on her rump. It reminds me of an Arabian.
DrsFan (edited Feb 21, 2006)
This is AMAZING!Draw more horses with designs like this!Oh yah and how does this remind you of an arabian sweetcell? It looks like an appaloosa to me. |

Yeah ok so I liked the spider better. drawn from a pic out of the same book. I didn't do it exactly like the pic though.
davincipoppalag (Feb 17, 2006)
I think you and I are the only ones who use pictures from books to draw from. Everyone else seems to use online pics. I like this one, too, but I think the lines you use for the legs and the head should be smooth, thinner, and shiny. The wings look nice.
Felistorm (Feb 18, 2006)
Thank you. :D Yep I for some reason am not so good with the online pics. I knew there was something bugging me about the butterfly. LOL :D Your insight actually helps alot keep the comments coming. ;) |

Boogie boogie boogie... More fun with lineart. Hands= cheap cop out
Rosemary (Feb 18, 2006)
lovely :)
JoeNobody (Feb 18, 2006)
this is very pleasing to look at, the full figure and a wonderful choice of colors. She reminds me a bit of J-Lo.
Zack (Feb 18, 2006)
This is a cool picture. I like the style it's done in. Even though I usually don't like some of the colors in there, you made them work really well. The way the sash thing with the hearts on it almost matches her skintone really threw me off at first though, and had me wondering if I was looking at a bare-bellied dancing pregnant woman. Just a small change of shade or color for that should fix it.
patienceisoverrated (Feb 18, 2006)
the bare-bellied dancing pregnant woman bit made me laugh... it's like those chicks in the yogurt commercial. I hadn't noticed that. Thanks. |

I creeped my daughter out.I think I've done my job. LOL Ummm only I forgot to merge the layers is that a bad thing?
davincipoppalag (Feb 17, 2006)
Creeped me too! VEry good! ewwwwwww
Felistorm (edited Feb 17, 2006)
I'm arachnophobic myself but have always been completely enthralled by garden spiders. :D I forgot to add that I saw this one in a childrens book and kinda fixed it up some. ;) Ihad a picture of my neice going a couple of days ago and got sooooo upset cause I had it looking good and my browser closed and it would never come back up. Ugh. :O :P
davincipoppalag (Feb 17, 2006)
I'm with you ,Jana. I am not a big fan of them, either..but they do fascinate me. I did one too, a long time back..creeped me out doing it.
JoeNobody (Feb 18, 2006)

SYTHE

A picture someone had requested.
Gigandas (Feb 12, 2006)
This guy seriously reminds me of Sting from back when I used to watch WCW pro wrestling. They've got like the same hair, similar face make up (even black & white like this guy), and kind of the same face (not really, though). This guy is rather skinny though. So I guess he sorta looks like a skinny version of Sting, hehe...Just the way you drew this gives off this 'extra' eerieness (I dunno if anyone else gets this, but it does). Maybe it has to do with the man being 3-dimensional, placed on a 2-dimensional background. I hope you keep it that way when this is completed.
Pseudonymous (Feb 12, 2006)
I don't know who this is. It's scaring me. Go back to drawing big boobed women. O_O(Just kidding, Rich. It's wonderful as usual. But really. It is scary.) *runs off with her teddy bear and blanky to snuggle with her parents*
Drachnem (Feb 13, 2006)
I love this. Dark and twisted.
kristine (Feb 22, 2006)

living in a trailer park has it's inevitable disadvantages.....
DarkCloak (Feb 10, 2006)
Great series! But how many times can a man get flattened in his lifetime? :PI love how you never reveal the face of Larry's wife.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Feb 10, 2006)
So in this rendition of the story, shouldn't Gladys be the good witch of the North Trailer Park, instead of Glenda? She could add a few sequins to her turquoise robe and use a feather duster (or a flyswatter, whatever's handy) for her magic wand, you see. AND seems to me that Larry's haggly wife ought to be in charge of the flying monkeys this go round. uhuh. Everybody else (including Larry... gets to take a picnic lunch to Opiate Park (where the poppies grow, of course) where they get wasted on poppy fumes, while eating poppyseed cake. Meanwhile, Larry's haggly wife is busy tending the monkeys and he hooks up with this young chick that blew on over from the trailer park, as well. I think her name is Dorothy? Then Wanda shows up, and it's like a free for all between Gladys, Wanda, Larry's wife and Dorothy... that's when the poppies hit the fan, you see, and Larry wonders if the circus midgets from the trailer park can rescue him from the war zone.
Felistorm (Feb 11, 2006)
Ummm Has DBA been hanging out in the poppy field awhile? *giggles. :D I see some ideas in there. :D I am loving this series and always look forward to the next one. Love the little flowerpot. :P
Pseudonymous (Feb 11, 2006)
Hahaha! Everything about this is perfect. Poor little Larry. XD |
