There's a few nice things about this, but I think there's also a few things you could have worked on more. The sketched versions seemed to have a little more life to them, once you added color everything flattened out. More shading would give it back the depth it lost there. I also think the lines are too rough. Rough lines can be used well sometimes, but in this case there's so many places that I can see spots of white inbetween and around the lines that I wish they were smoother, maybe with a lower opacity setting. |

It's always good to get to know your applet.... and know what your drawing before-hand so you can use the appropriate applet, and also think of the hair... as strands... not clumps, and even though it's a boy, there is hair on the back of his head... consider that... but i like your style... very very interesting...LOl, sexy glasses eh?

see now this is looking alittle better.. u should just experiment with the tools a bit more, play around with the applet to get a feel for it and then your pictures will come out even better, another thing you might wanna try is to not use such thick lines for everything, like use thinner lines for the things in the background and use thicker, but more detailed lines in the foreground.. hope that helps

Thanks. I added shadows, blurs, and shading. I was doing that so much I actully made the time limit!!!BTW, I like thick lines, but maybe I SHOULD try not-so-thick lines. I did more shading and added his swimming trunks ^__^

You should also try not using the "fill-in" tool. It's a bad habit. |
