cool bear... the colourin on the bear and tie is great....
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 7, 2004)
I love him. Now you have to draw the Bumblebee Princess, please. I am waiting for the next page of the story! *frowns, folds arms, stomps foot and pouts* Next Page! Princess! hurry!
Look (Feb 7, 2004)
I like the texture, it looks like a clay bear. Very soft.
DinoFlorist (Feb 7, 2004)
actually the bumblebee princess has already been drawn. It was a collaboration with Icats, so look there. Though, it doesn't really tell the story...

she thought life should be more glamorous. considering she was a princess and all that. but I guess that's just how things go in a world where hands are out of style.

the fact that she has no hands doesnt even bother me all that much. cute.
safescene (Feb 6, 2004)
I agree, she's very cute without hands :) I adore the way you draw hair - very cool
laurael (Feb 6, 2004)
I luv how you did the clouds and the hair and the heart and...the shading is just awesome...luv the whole thing...
DinoFlorist (Feb 6, 2004)
The description on this picture is hilarious. And the picture is also cool.

Yeah for Vash! This is really well done, I can't draw characters from anime shows to save my life!! Unless their the little cute creatures, like Makona, and Ryo-oki >_>;;... Heh ^-^! But I love this, the shading is nice =D
DinoFlorist (Feb 6, 2004)
I always thought that the '3' in the 'and' (of love and peace) sign went the other direction.
marcello (Feb 7, 2004)
You don't mean &, do you? but I think I agree. Looks good, but the donuts could use some work, do you have no shame!?
The_Chosen (Feb 7, 2004)

These are role playing characters from an rp I'm doing with my boyfriend. Taiyo (left) is my character, a tomboy female. And Kuja (right) is her brother, who is a few years ahead of his grade. Their both 8 years old. Taiyo is into music and arts, while Kuja is into addvancing its knowledge. Their mother was a lot more cat like than them, she had fur all over, feline eyes, feline-like hands and feet, and feline teeth. Their father was human. So their just here as a mix ^-^;; C&C please?

It's a good drawing, but quite a strange premise. I don't know what you mean by role-play, but I'd stick with the pizza delivery boy...
Neko (Feb 9, 2004)
Aww, they're both cute in that casual, easywearing style. VERY nice and smooth lineart. Love them Kuja's earfluffs.

Gahh, I'm off to train drawing something as cute. Too bad not on oekaki, though.

My first attemot at realism... and didn't do very well with it... She looks fat.. Oh well, guess it'll have to do.

Eeh... I fixed it. Hope it looks a little better. Still sticking to anime form now on unless I draw from reference.
DinoFlorist (Feb 6, 2004)
hey there's fat people out there! It looks real if yuo think about it that way.
marcello (Feb 7, 2004)
The fatness is not a problem, I think to make it realistic you need to add a little more clarity, as it is rather blurry. Try going in with the pen tool and adding finer lines. Although it is not clear if you intended this or not, it looks like she/he is wearing either a mask or just makeup similar to used in japanese theater (which would make it a him?)...

it blurred up! what happened...? well nevermind......ta...da..? Mufasa. I am very tired so it's not my best work...i do much better drawing on peper. My mouse messes up, also its my first time on this shi-painter (not including those paintchats). To tell you i think i have gotton MUCH better.

Nice.. great job..
DinoFlorist (Feb 6, 2004)
scar is horrible, just horrible, which is unlike this picture. This is picture is great! I would take out the letters thuogh. They aren't stylized and its a good enough likeness that we can all tell its mufasa!
jasonsgrl14 (Feb 9, 2004)
It seems so real! Love the picture, but DinoFlorist is right you should take out the letters.

A portrait of my favorite TV character of all time, Archie Bunker. Actually, I hate TV fo the most part and those reality shows blow! I know, it's not photo realistic, it's not finished but it looked so painterly and cool, I say it's done. I used my mouse. Pic: http://www.angelfire.com/rings/cloxboy/archie.gif

Clox, this is a nice surprise from you, thanks.
Look (Feb 8, 2004)
awesome portrait. It's actually nice you leave the hair unfinished, so it's more like a drawing than photo
davincipoppalag (Feb 11, 2004)
you did this with a mouse??? Incredible likeness .. I can almost hear him saying "Stifle...Edith!" wonderful..
