Hmm... this might fall more in the category of 'disturbing' than 'distorted', but I gave it my best shot. ;) I very loosely followed another piece of my own offline art as a ref - I haven't posted it anywhere yet because it's not quite finished. I never had a goldfish. I have a cat and a dog and two brothers and a fishbowl full of Sea Monkeys. But the kindergarden class at my elementary school very suspisiously had the same hamster for all the eight years I went there.

Inspiration is one of those things that comes in fits and starts.
