you studied anatomy in highschool? :( arrrgh, what the heck did I learn in highschool? CRAP! The only classes that I had that would help me out with art is the basic art class. One freaking semester of art! OMG!! I am totally art deprived. Truthfully, I never thought I wanted to be dealing with art until my freshmen year. Thankfully summer is here, now I can indulge myself with artful things. :D :D :D :D!!

The best way to learn is just to do it, anyway. Observe the best you can find, study it, and try to emulate it. An artist cannot be taught, only "awakened", anyway.

I have this really important question that has been bugging me all of my life. Maybe you could try to answer it for me. Goofy is a dog, right? I mean, he looks like a dog. He wears clothes. Pluto is a dog, right? Pluto doesn't wear clothes, and he lives in a dog house, but Goofy wears clothes and lives in a real house. And while we're at it, how come Mickey mouse wears shorts and no shirt, and Donald Duck wears a shirt and no shorts? What's up with that?

Everybody loves Goofy! When she was three years old, one of my daughters loved Goofy so much that she wanted to marry him. The only one of your questions I can answer, Dead, is why Donald Duck wears no shorts.. his tail wouldn't fit in there. Very nice drawing, shdajl. :)

Heehee...this little guy was a lot of fun to do..did a lot of his anatomy by memory though I'm probably sure that there are a few errors. Can't really help that now..my hand hurts! XP

Hmmm, I beg to differ on the goodness of all fishing memories.. once when I was a little girl, I was standing behind my dad as he cast his line. He whipped the rod back and the hook caught my finger. That hurt like crazy... and that's why I don't fish. And if getting hooked wasn't bad enough, he yelled at me for being in the way! So yeah.. some fishing memories are not that great. However... this is a very nice picture. Looks nice and tranquil there on the lake at night.

I think I see what you did, here... each version is like a separate piece of work, a transformation from turbulence into calm. This was really a neat idea, and the final picture does give you a feeling of tranquility - although she does still look a little sad and hopeless.

Hey, this is a neat idea for a drawing - don't you love the way these applets will produce the "light effects" they do? You can borrow my flashlight to find your way around in there, if you need to. lol
