This is from a beautiful photograph Dave took. (as most of his photographs are... exceptionally beautiful) I'm happy that he gave me permission to paint it, I enjoyed it so.

Thank you for sharing it with me, Dave. :)

I took an intermission between revisions and went to Surfside Beach for a week. :D

I know this is old, but for some reason I haven't seen this before and it's just so GORGEOUS. I'm in awe of the colors.

Nice. You even included the oily shine on the bubbles.
davincipoppalag (Aug 17, 2007)
Now this is a fun pic. One of my friends on DA had just posted some pictures of the "Bubbleman" running around laying these kind of big bubbles in the air. It's fun. Love this.

I really like this. I can't understand how you do it. But it's really imaginative, I like abstract art.. It makes your fantasy dance.. ^^
nekodesu (Aug 18, 2007)
All the movement effect is very eye-catching. :)

There are so many wonderful details in this pic. The water at the bottom is a great touch, adding to the reality and energy. Excellent work! Jillj

Came around to check your gallery since I've missed so much lately, and this one in particular caught my eye. I have often thought of doing one of some photos from NASA in Houston, since I'm from the area, been visiting recently, and really familiar with it, but haven't had time.

This one turned out great. My favorite thing is the area to the right. This is a good piece of art.

Yep, I can look pretty scary. It's a bit exaggerated and I used illustrative lighting.

Hey, just wanted to say I could bring every one you've done to the front again. Blows me away how talented you are. Was an hour well spent. ;)

Well according to marcello.. java is on the way out and he cant spend a lot of time trying to make what's here work with it..most of the problems seem to be with increased security on the java console and the browsers. He says he is working on a new release that isnt java based though.. I think the people who can still make things work come here sometimes..but most just went by the wayside because they couldnt

My favorite from you, so far. It has an excellent lighting and I like the details :)

Thanks for the nice comments.
Sweetcell (Jul 25, 2007)
His legs do look a bit stunted, but the shading and detailing makes you not really see it unless it was pointed out to you. His hands are nicely done (you got the digit wrinkles in there) and he looks like he's been shot by his well rendered expression. You get better and better, and your really good at doing scratchy pen work.

Oh, and to answer your question Oekaki Shi has different types of medium tools (pencil, watercolor, airbrush and pen) Lascaux has really only two, but they can be used the same way.

So the other night I was watching the TV and there's this promo for a new mini series called "The Company". And I'm thinking it looks like something I'd want to see, but then all of a sudden I see a flash of Tom Hollander. So I immediately run to my computer to go to imdb and look up this new mini series to confirm whether or not I was hallucinating. AND THERE HE WAS. IN ALL HIS SUITED GLORY. And I was thrilled.

I really do not like elaborate backgrounds. (Unless, of course, they're someone else's.)

Oh my god, someone check his vital signs, stat. He's blue.
