Link's a pansy running around in tights who hides behind shields, swords, boomerangs and bombs. Luigi doesn't have any of that junk and still puts Link to shame. You people just aren't cool enough to know how to use him correctly. >:]

It's a shame that they didn't make this game for online...that'd be awesome if we could all fight...then we'd see who's butt got whipped...wouldn't we? ;] Btw...Dino had it right...Starfox 'is' my favorite...and I don't need anything but his hands and feet to win. :)
davincipoppalag (Jul 8, 2004)
We fight enough right here!
laurael (edited Jul 8, 2004)

Another great piece glow:) You have such a clean style lol!
Gigge (Jul 7, 2004)
Very pretty, Glow. I'd like to vacation there. The twilight glow the whole thing has is beautiful.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jul 7, 2004)
There is one thing missing from this picture... ME! I am sitting at that table eating things wrapped in grape leaves, drinking wine and checking out hot Greek guys (while going by my given name, Cynthia, which just happens to be Greek. :) edit: this is very well-done.. exceptional composition and my favorite thing is the greenery on the wall (just one teeny tiny thing... maybe a bit of a shadow under the table and chairs would sort of "hold them down" to the patio)

This is a very loose approach that i tried. I tried to emphasise certain parts of version one, whilst keeping the loose effect. Would appreciate some comments ;)
go well all

Thanks you guys for the comments.
Shmoopy: thanks for your words+ compliment (its not new-age influenced at all though(dreams may often seam like new-age, but this is not :) )
davincipop: thanks, i intended it to go high- i was caught in two minds: van Gogh or some other artist i know personally)
Aubrey...You noticed something that i wondered if people will notice or wonder about it. I knew that the angle was wrong quite late in the painting. It didnt bug me enough to change it. I suppose it adds to the "difficulty" of climbing this ladder in life at times. I guess i`ll keep it like that for now, but i guess i shuold have been more specific with the approach of climbing, or have gone the other route(correct angle and easy climbing). Well noticed.
thanks supergurl :)
Go well all.
Anna (edited May 31, 2004)
I really like this, mx. :D Great job and nice style
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 2, 2004)
Was just checking out your gallery, and this one is my favorite. I did notice the body's angle in relation to the ladder, and I wondered about it... briefly...makes it look to me slightly like this is a tunnel at an angle and not like a straight down well, but it isn't off enough to detract from the effect you were trying to get across so really doesn't matter. I love the feeling it gives me to look at it.
mx (Jul 8, 2004)
Thanks deadlyblonde:)
Is this artwork too seperate from my other style of artworks though?
Do you think my work looks like its done by the same artist, or is each artwork too individual causing me to be "undiscovered" in my own style?

Hey, this is great. The two of you work well together. :)
mooseflower (Jun 8, 2004)
KO, the phrase "my crappy coloring" should not be in your vocabulary. Laurael's right, all I did was add a few little touchie thingies :)
Kloxboy (Jun 11, 2004)
This is great guys. Very trippy. The funny thing is, that kid is really in his kitchen and that dragon he's talking to is actually a toaster, damned drugs, he's fried.
Knockoff (Jul 7, 2004)
Well, that I ment by crappy coloring, is its not half as good as mooseflowers, not that mine sucks ;)

from the movie called osama, made in afghanistan, set in taliban era, a girl must disguise herself as a boy to get work and support her mother and grandmother. based on a true story i believe...and a sad one

I'm so glad I told you about this site. We need more serious artistic pictures like this here. Beautiful.

misterjimsan (Jul 6, 2004)
heh, thank you, and i'm glad you told me about this site, too.
damnskippytakn-a-break (Jul 6, 2004)
Breathtaking! I would love to work side by side with you! I am feeling inadequate right now, rethinking this medium.
mx (Jul 6, 2004)
I hate to admit it, but i was wrong:)
You actually improved the artwork without leaving it as unfinished...so much so that i dont think my advice will help cause it is clear that you know what your doing and should be in the advanced section...
Yet again it looks great unfinished, but i guess youll be able to improve it even more

go well

Nice fox and snow. I especially like the way you did the little evergreen.

Beautiful job on the fur, Lori.

I don't know anything about the error problem, but I'm really enjoying the picture. She looks menopausally insane or something. lol
emmamommalag (Jul 3, 2004)
