from the movie called osama, made in afghanistan, set in taliban era, a girl must disguise herself as a boy to get work and support her mother and grandmother. based on a true story i believe...and a sad one

Wonderful work... what a pained expression. This shows alot of talent.

Hi there:-)

This is advanced work and not intermediate...also consider leaving it unfinished...many great works are unfinished..it might keep the focus on the face(just a possible suggestion)

go well

Excellent work mrjim..you can see the pain in her eyes...

I'm glad I'm not the only one that suffers with the main focus first, background last syndrome. Very nice picture! I agree with mx, I like it the way it is. but from the looks of your talent, if you did finish it off, the clothes would be just as exquisite

I remember the trailer, but missed the movie when it came. This is a very powerful piece. Maybe it's just me but I see more of a pensive and defiant look than pain. I can only wonder at what Osama is seeing in this image.

I see both pain and determination in her eyes. This is excellent, mister. I like the way you've finished it off. A wonderful work.

I'm so glad I told you about this site. We need more serious artistic pictures like this here. Beautiful.

Breathtaking! I would love to work side by side with you! I am feeling inadequate right now, rethinking this medium.

I hate to admit it, but i was wrong:)
You actually improved the artwork without leaving it as unfinished...so much so that i dont think my advice will help cause it is clear that you know what your doing and should be in the advanced section...
Yet again it looks great unfinished, but i guess youll be able to improve it even more

go well

mx:)
