Ain't getting old, ain't getting younger though Just getting used to the lay of the land I ain't tongue-tied, just don't got nothin' to say I'm proud to be livin' in the U.S.A. Ready to go, willin' to stay and pay U.S.A., U.S.A. So my sweet love can dance another free day U.S.A., U.S.A. In history we painted pictures grim The devil knows we might feel that way again The big wind blows, so the tall grass bends But for you don't push too hard my friend. Ready to go, willin' to stay and pay U.S.A., U.S.A. So my sweet wife can dance another free day U.S.A., U.S.A. Got people here down on their knees and prayin' Hawks and doves are circlin' in the rain Got rock and roll, got country music playin' If you hate us, you just don't know what you're sayin'. Ready to go, willin' to stay and pay U.S.A., U.S.A. So my sweet love can dance another free day U.S.A., U.S.A. |

maybe a little looser than I had planned.
Childlike_Vampire (Mar 9, 2005)
Wow, that's damn nifty.
Axil62 (Mar 9, 2005)
Thanks
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 9, 2005)
Sometimes I try to refrain from commenting on your work because it seems like I just follow you around and wait for you to draw something new and great like this so I can look at it. (Don't tell anyone, but I do.) This reminded me of my Daddy's old worn out wrangler shirts that he wears to work around the ranch that I steal when they get old and soft. I like this picture alot and I had to say so.
kejoco (Mar 10, 2005)
I think the fact that you left the technique a little loose works really well with the subjectlooks awesome dan i'm sort of like dba, don't comment on all your pictures even though most of them are awesome because i feel i'll become redundant and none of the comments would mean anything |

I liked how they glowed so I dralled em.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 9, 2005)
I like how they glow, too. If you let them stay here long enough maybe we can have wine and stuff.
Axil62 (Mar 9, 2005)
I see things that need to be fixed, things that glare at me now. I guess I'll fix em later.
pug106 (Mar 9, 2005)
These remind me more of a gooseberry, we had them in our garden when i was young. Love the glow!! |

DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 8, 2005)
I'm sure glad I made better grades in English and Literature than I did in geometry. That is just sad.
silver_maiden (Mar 9, 2005)
if you make the skin a little peach and lighten up on the shadows it would look great, luv the wings. |

The return of late-night drawing.
Gigandas (Mar 9, 2005)
Well, on my computer it looked fine in v1 anyway.Marcello must have a really tinted screen.
staci (Mar 9, 2005)
:o i had no clue that was hidden there when i first viewed. thanks version 2!
marcello (Mar 9, 2005)
my screen is fine, but most people don't have as l33t a screen as I do. contrast is contrast, it has little to do with the screen.v2 is way better. it adds better balance, focus, and composition.
Gigandas (Mar 9, 2005)
Yeah, okay. |

weird perspectivethe clock is several hours long on this, just ignore it, please.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 8, 2005)
You know what I mean, featherperson... lol.. it's pleasing, it's just not.. pretty. Thanks Zep, I had never viewed any of that artists' work, and mine certainly isn't of his skill level... it must be the blue tones. The painting I saw was totally cool... I'm a fan now.
zep (Mar 8, 2005)
ok...maybe the blue tones, and this man it´s amazing isn´t he?, take a look of his installations, i have the opportunity to see one over chicago, was simply awesome!!
featherstone (edited Mar 8, 2005)
featherperson, lol well no... men are not "pretty"... lol.... they are... hmm.... uh.... sexy! but... only if they have a brain too :D
davincipoppalag (Mar 9, 2005)

My strange MJ drawing.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 7, 2005)
Amazing how you executed it in this style and it is so unmistakably resembles him. You have a unique talent in that respect.
Childlike_Vampire (Mar 8, 2005)
This is damn scary. It looks almost exactly like one of my highschool history teachers. She was like 35, but she looked at least 50 because she was addicted to tanning. The left eye kinda makes me wish it was more sharp. Great drawing, the lighting is fantastic. :D
Cordelia_Pink (Mar 8, 2005)
The face looks a bit stretched horizontally somehow. Creepy. Looks pretty good. Definitely has that "child molester" look. BECAUSE HE IS. Give it a rest, people. MJ is the real thing, he's a culprit. He is guilty. It says in the eyes. If you've seen the part of Martin Bashir's interview of the people who had been involved with him, then you'll realise that MJ is proven wrong.
pulmonq2 (Mar 8, 2005)
Not to mention that the witness list for the trial is ludicrious. >.> Anyway. Very disturbing image Clox. Almost has a woodcarving sort of feel to it. Very creepy :s |

this a WIP for a friend that will become a part of the cover for his next album his band is coming out with, it's inspired by someone else but he liked the contradictory idea and image of a famous political figure doing an uncharacteristic thing. i'm sure there are some relevancies or deeper meanings can be found, but whatever, assuming you can figure out who this man is. the older members of this board should be able to get it (also assuming i drew this well enough for him to be recognizable)as always, criticism, input, even some new ideas are welcome before i finish this up
Kink (Mar 3, 2005)
YAY! Finished! AWESOME! *gasp gasp* I love how well this turned out. Im glad to see that you finaly put those last crucial touches to it. I bet you this gets showcased.
PolythenePam (Mar 4, 2005)
"No, no, The BEATLES, not The WHO!" Hehe, Davinci.
Knockoff (Mar 8, 2005)
This is good, but i'm disapointed in you. This one seems a bit blurry, and you always used to draw the most clearest drawings.
Proynov_Misho (Mar 8, 2005)

It's grass.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 8, 2005)
Makes me want to go out in the yard and lay down and peek through the grass so it looks like that. Very pretty and springy.
featherstone (Mar 8, 2005)
that's more than grass.. look at that light pattern... niiice :) |

carry me home to see my kin
singing songs about the southland.
I miss ole bamy once again and I think it's a sin. Yes.
Well, I heard Mister Young sing about her.
Well, I heard ole Neil put her down.
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
a southern man don't need him around anyhow.
Sweet home Alabama where the skies are so blue.
Sweet home Alabama, Lord, I'm coming home to you. - Lynard Skynard
heh... sorry, that's one of my favorite songs and since I run out of stuff to say here and I like this picture, I couldn't help myself. :)
