nope, not a student in art school manga... took private lessons as a child and have a couple of artists in my family who taught me.. I've been painting for almost 30 years. |

Hah, Marcello. I've actually heard that the silver lining is on the inside of the cloud. But, I've also seen clouds split open with a knife so that the silver lining is visible and the light peaks out a little like it does here. Very pretty, DBA.

thirsty for inspiration because the person (Axil62 you know who you are) that I have learned the most from watching and who inspires me the most has been too busy to draw much lately, so I looked at this pitcher of water and I drew it. (pun intended) :)

Courtney and her horse, Promise. Requested by a friend of Courtney's mother as a gift to her. (Happy 16th birthday, Courtney, and congratulations on your recent win - I hope Promise's injury gets well quickly. - He is a beautiful horse and I enjoyed painting him. :)I can't be certain that I captured Courtney's likeness exactly - her eyes were shadowed by the hat and pretty blurry in the photograph I went by, so I did the best I could from what I could see. I hope her eyes are blue!!

a suggestion from davincipoppalag - here's the reference he gave me: http://www.1000pictures.com/view.htm?caircraft/aerobatic+fBlueAngels-3.jpg+x600+y400the dimensions aren't exactly perfect (I would have had to measure and graph and boring stuff like that to get it completely accurate) It got kind of tedious, but I enjoyed doing it because it was something new and different. Amazing pilots, anyway.

You did great with this Miss Cindy! I love that you put more nice clouds than the ref. I'm sure it wasn't easy to draw all the overlapping parts, but you did it perfectly! I'm glad you enjoyed doing this because I'm lovin lookin at it! Terrific!

This is one for the evil clown series, inspired by Zack's evil clown, because his really scared me. I wanted to do one that I personally found creepy. I don't like old dolls.
