Can't help but be drawn to those eyes.
sincity (Jan 12, 2005)
Cool, very cool. You knew what you were going to do didn't you, you silly you. Reminds me of when I was little and used to catch them and put them in jars and sit and watch them flash. :}
emmamommalag (Jan 12, 2005)
You did a really great job on the glow part of that bug.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jan 12, 2005)
no, I really didn't know what I was gonna do when I started. I did that, too, and then I'd be sad when it was daytime and they were all sluggish and then dead later.

Haha, I hope the wound was not serious! I must take a camera and start photographing things and then draw them. Incredible artwork! >:)

It's a pretty good drawing but the edge of the blade could use more work. It looks dull.
inatyrb (Jan 8, 2005)
Very Pretty Picture. You drew it very well. I love how people can draw realistically! I will someday!

Gibson anyone? Or do you prefer a Martini?
Gigandas (edited Jan 3, 2005)
This is pretty neat.It's like you're kinda looking at this realism combined with some abstract painting behind it, but only because the texture of the wall send you that vibe.I haven't bothered to go through everyone's comments, but I just wanna point out what an awesome job you did on that chair there.Very 3-dimensional.
sincity (Jan 3, 2005)
Martini please, shaken. I love it, it reminds me of al those mediterranian pics you see. I had about 3 different ones and they al had this blue, blue door in them, with the ocean in the background. This is just a fantastic piece. :}
Aubrey (Jan 10, 2005)
That is just too beautiful. You really did an excellent job on everything in this Cindy.

At Bingo's Surfside Good Vibrations Surfboard Shop/combo church (yeah) Bingo will build you a custom surfboard while he preaches to you... "Ride the wave of the spirit baby", and as you leave his shop his surfer chicks say... "Have a blessed day." I miss summer. :( (Bingo misses the 60's :)

Billy the Kid...Some say he died and is buried in New Mexico, some say he ended up in Hico, Texas, ... a town I drive through to get to our ranch. Big controversy, but who cares really. Just havin' a little fun.

A stretch of Texas highway in the hill country where I live. I have a prickly pear cactus like these on the west side of my house that is taller than I am, and it is in full bloom now.

(I'm having a helluva time dragging the computer out to the side of the highway to get this done, fighting rattlesnakes and chiggers and I have prickly pear stickers in my ankles... (lol just kidding of course)

Okay, done. And was just thinking... when I die, I may not go to heaven... just let me go to Texas, Texas is as close as I've been.

This is a very pretty picture to look at...fabulous, just fabulous...all those flowers and details...wow...
Aubrey (Jun 29, 2004)
This is just great, all that detail you put in every flower must have taken AGES. It's beautifully wonderful though. I wish I could drive down that road!

Stevie Ray Vaughan - October 3, 1954 - August 20, 1990
He is my all time favorite artist. His guitar seemed to me not to be a musical instrument when he played it, but an extension of himself. He didn't play his music, he was the music. If you ever saw him live, or viewed any of his concert footage, you saw that he put his soul into it. No one wielded a guitar like that before him, and no one has since. My rendition of him may not be worthy of this board, but he's worthy of it so this is where he goes.

I'm working from a photograph taken during one of his live performances.

If you set the zoom to 50% you can view the whole image without scrolling.
