I want to write this for I feel sadness inside. I think I am the only one with true wishes, and here is what I wish for: I wish I had a friend, I wish I did not have to deal with knowing I am dealing with this. I only have support, I don't have anybody really.. I can't believe people think surviving is good enough. I am feeling horrible, I have nothing. Human beauty and other proportional systems... I always find it interesting how mathematical everything seems to be, yet so many artists "hate math". I don't know if I agree or think that things are really broken down to just numbers, but I do think that things can be broken down into smaller units, if we see fit. Anyway I don't have alot to say, just thought it was interesting, and wanted to see other's thoughts on it. What do you think defines beauty? ...

Thanks I use 40 -100 opacity and flow always at max also pen size also at max for the mist style effect offcourse i use the color picker(right click) all the time so i don't really need too soft.. anyway the mist need to be more textured it's kintda smoothy with hard edges to like someone did a median filter in paint shop pro XD i havwe to add more whites to the mist and textures... this basic layer XD i guess that was stupid off me not to make one layer for the mist - clouds XD *my english kinda suck right now cause i am sleepy XD* taa daaaaaaa! XD
still doesn't look good :/

Colorful! The sky looks great, the blend is great, the hair is great, the face is great, and everything else is great!! You could maybe soften the lines for the strands on her hair though. |

I'm sure alot of you also are getting extremely annoyed by the numerous posts that have waaaaaaay too many " Kawai"'s or "OMGLOLROFFLEPOPSWTF!"'s included in them. Great picture. I love the lips and her expression.The background is different from the rest of the picture and that makes it cool XD

I would say nice things about this, because there are a lot of nice things that you've done. However, when you only focus on other people's negative work (with the exception of the few people you think are too cool to critique), it makes it harder to do that. This picture could be a lot better if you made the transition from the waxy girl a little more consistant. I think you quit on it, which is easy to do. Good job on the nostril and the lips, but the bridge of the nose is weird and the eyes look like the skin is peeling off of it. Of course, it was supposed to be that way @_@! With more practice, maybe you yourself can be in that small group of people that you won't harass. There are degrees of crappiness and your standards are too high. And, there are degrees of tactfulness, and your standards are too low.

Okay....I just read all of that ^ and I am halfway confused because I think some comments have been deleted/removed. So KO I just want to tell you that I only visit 2draw to look at everyone's contributions and I comment on those that amaze me or those that I feel I can help out with my comment. I ignore and skip over all of the other mess/gossip/in the end just words that have nothing to do with art. This way I "protect" myself from becoming so upset about the latest topics taking place here. That enables me to continue visiting this site.Now on to the more important thing, KO this is an amazing drawing! When I first saw it and that you drew it, I was soooo proud at how your skills have grown. Her nose, lips, chin, and cheeks are excellent! I like the extra bit of pink/purplish color you have added there. And the teeth add nice detail to her expression (which I also love). The outline of the eyes is not just right, and her eyebrows don’t quite fit the rest of the face. I also think that more emphasis would have been put on her expression and face if you made all of her hair black (or leave only a very few highlights) and remove the partial ear. Make the viewer wonder what is this girl looking at that is causing her to have this facial expression. I am glad you incorporated your different style in the background. This will be one of those drawings that I think about and have to go back to look at it again. Thanks Knockoff :D

Er, first Intermediate submition.This took an hour!? Ack!! Ah well. It didnt turn out as cute as I had hoped, and I didnt get to add Chibi Kaiba either. *sighs* Maybe next time. o.o

This is an okay attempt. At least you did took the time to work on it though I'm not sure about the amount of effort put into it judging by the space it has. I can only assume that it would have to do with using the Fill tool for coloring and shading because I can see some "fill noise" (that's what they call it) on areas that weren't filled in, it kinda makes the picture a little incomplete though. I don't mean to sound a little picky on this but maybe you could just erase those see-through lines on the eyebrows of Yu-Gi-Oh and that little redhair guy. But overall, I think this is a good picture. It's a big canvas that nicely fits all four characters yet it just seems a little plain. You know you could still revise it if you're not all that satisfied or don't think it's that cute. I think the little pinkshirt girl and the little redhaired guy look cute btw. Good job on that one.

you're pretty good at anime. I like pictures done purely with the pencil tool. A better background would be good.And Cordelia, in lots of anime, if the hair is covering the eyebrows they still draw the outline of the eyebrows to still be able to show expression. I can hardly see any spots where it's not completely filled in so I dont think that's a serious problem. But to satisfy people I guess all you need to do is just become more familiar with the applets and different tools if you haven't already.

umm,, well lately I haven't the time because of work I only get online for about a few minutes a day so I wouldn't have the time... I don't have a day off anytime soon either.... hmm... well if I don't do it in the next few days (2 lol) then you can if you wish to ^.^ I just wish I had more time!!!!! grr...Added the rose ^.^ yay! I had time! but i still dont get why the pic doesnt show up??? oh and by the way, I couldn't shade the girl... I just dont have time anymore... poo.. oh well..

That's okay. The shading is quite subtle but it's good enough. The rose looks pretty good, oddly enough, it matches with the color of her hair. lol (but just less pink) Well, yay us!!

lol yeah... I'm not all that great a drawer (well ok, not a good drawer at all! ^.^) but my point is... well, actually I don't have a point. that's kinda the point. lol j/k yeah I know! I happen to love pink.. although it does make some pics look to pinkish... oh well.. practice makes perfect right? lol yay! at least it is done. |

Thanks. He's not helping with the actual painting of the art, I have him as collaborator on some of my pieces so he can access the layers for animation.
