!
very good, i love the highlights + reflections in the cherry..
sexy
the only thing id change is the area where the lips meet- perhaps some more shadow and a tinge more skin tone to make it look more like the lips are part of the face? -overall very good- infact i almost fell guilty critiquing this pic- especially since i cant come anwhere close to that myself :-p

Bloody hell. Finally a sharp, crisp, clear, and bloody good piece! Fantastic. Only things that jump out are the lips are so detailed and glossed, then the skin seems just...blah. The lips look as if they're floating in a skin coloured space. And the sides of the lips where each one meet, they seem a bit too..joined. As if its just one lip which loops around. But, bugger that...the lips! The cherry! SHIT HOT!

Hey, this is really good. Your Dad would love it! Should show it to him when you're done. (Oh, btw, this place is highly habit forming if you love to draw - glad to have ya!)

A Great Tip for Tablet Users
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 27, 2004)
I don't know how many ppl know this or already do it, but a friend shared it with me so I thought I'd share it with yall. I have a Wacom and don't know if it works with other types of tablets, but if you put about 3 pcs of typing paper over your tablet, it gets rid of that slippery feel when you draw, and it becomes more like using real tools, and you have more control. It doesn't affect the pressure sensitivity or anything. It takes a few minutes to get used to it, but I like it better that way...

an ethereal spookthing good choice of colors very eerie
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 3, 2004)
To me it looks like someone afraid of the dark, clutching a blanket. Very cool colors, I like this.
Consequential_Biopsy (Mar 3, 2004)
Rather chilling. Love the ghosty effect, and the hints of purple and blue.
dixielandcutie (Mar 3, 2004)

Did not use a photograph of a real person or anything, intended it to be more of a doll-like depiction. Features ended up being alot like one of my little nieces, Chloe, although she has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Since there's an 'aww' in each comment so far, and I'm always one to follow the crowd...AWWWWW! On a slightly more serious note, looks good, maybe the left eye (from our pov) is a little mis-shaped, and the chin a little small (ie not enough space between the bottom of the mouth and the bottom of the chin), but apart from that the proportions are good, and great shading! And AWWWW!
