Meandered into this one with no specific destination when I started. Not entirely unhappy with where it ended up, although I'm sure there are things I may have done differently had I had the image in my head from the start. I hope you enjoy it.

might i suggest trying to use a reference? it really helps when it comes to learning about the details of a face which will in turn help you do it referenceless better in the future.

Yaay! A cute night scene! Is this a desert? I like it. ^^* I especially like the attention to the sky colouring and the horizon line. Very pretty...!

Nope, it's not a desert! But thanks for the compiment anyways! The black is supposed to be a mountain, the orange, the sunset. You know......twilight! ;)

First oekaki ever! Mostly just playing around with the appletthingy and generally getting to know the tools.
Used a reference pic [http://www.aquahotels.com/galleryresources/bourgas/pool_4.jpg] found on Google.
I learned a lot of things while creating this picture, you know. First of all, that drawing with a mouse creates Big Headache and Much Cursing. And that maybe I'm not the greatest artist in the world. ^_^U Criticism welcome.

I can't give you any advice or criticism at all, for I am just an apprentice myself. But....I think this is a good picture for a first try. A lot better than my first. I'll tell you just like everyone tells me. Keep practicing! You will improve.
