Colette Brunel from Tales of Symphonia.My birthday was yesterday, I've finally reached the ripe old age of 18... EDIT: Why was this sent to the collab board? Please, don't use the word "gay" to insult something. I really find that stupid and offensive, not the insult itself (though "gay" really isn't an insult anyways) but how it's used. :/ There's nothing bad about gay people you know. And I very much agree with Callypso. :DAnyhoo, it's true, I am a lazy piece of crap who just sits and draw on the computer. I am flattered by your comment. :D Tales of Symphonia rules! :)

My first attempt at digital art. Not as bad as I feared, not as good as I hoped. That sums up my opinion rather well, I think.The gourd-thingy started as a leaf, but it sort of changed on its own. If there are any gourd purists out there, I have no idea if this looks like a real kind of gourd. I'm not even sure if gourds look like this! It could be a squash, I guess. And I definitely know those leaves are not the right kind. Oh well. Someday, I'll come back and finish the vine. I'll also do a background. I didn't do them yet because I don't know what kind of background to do. I'll probably muse on that for a while before I actually draw it. Update: I was trying to add a background (the beginning of which is shown), saved, and then found out I exceeded space for this file. Gah! So... As far as I'm going to get, I think. May work on the sky further later.
The leaves got screwed up - I have no idea how. But it looks sort of cool... I guess. *sighs*

For your first attempt at digital art, this is very well done. You obviously put a lot of time and effort into this picture, and it shows. The leaves do look cool, almost as if they were made of blown glass.

Sheesh! I wasn't even gone a week and I seemed to have missed so much good art! :*(! Anyway, this is sooo good. I like it quite a bit! I love the painted look to it! The skin tones are excellent and so is his stubble. Great work

I think the title is pretty self-explanatory alone, but I'm curious, how many art major/minors do we have here (which one, specifically)? If it's your major, then what specific art field are you looking to get into? I'll start this off I guess... Currently I'm just a Fine Arts major, but I think at this point I'm headed for the entertainment arts field. More specifically put, video games/animation. Anyway, feel free to share yours, thanks :).
