Hey all! I am happy to finally announce a new 2draw.net project, the 2draw art book project! What is this project, you ask? Well, it is a book! Full-color, hard-cover, high-quality book like you'd find in any nice bookstore. And what's in this book? Art from 2draw.net! Over the next two weeks we will be selecting artwork from the entire archive of 2draw.net drawings to be included in the book. And you get to help! How can you help? I can't seem to find anything on it... I recently had to restore my computer to factory settings. I re-downloaded jtablet, but this time around it isn't working. Does anyone know a solution? I've already tried rebooting the computer and reinstalling it. Thanks to anyone who can help.

I see a man that just stepped out of his apartment after a long fight with his girl friend. She wants him to continue taking night classes at the local technical institute but he doesn't feel he's cut out for it and wants to quit. He's content with his cashier's job at Walmart and he's pretty certain he can convince his boss to give him a hefty raise in a couple months. As he smokes his cigarette, pondering over the argument, he hears his girl friend crying and turns his head towards the door, which brings us that very moment, seen above. OR, maybe he's smoking a crack-laced joint and keeps seeing hallucinations of a dead clown raving in the next room. The clown is sporting nothing but a few strategically placed glow sticks in his butt and some poorly made balloon animals tied around his penis. All the while, the clown keeps screaming "jigga, jigga, booo!." Am I close?

I like the first scenario.Mine goes like this: I see a teenage boy that came home from school via skateboard only to find his mother strung out on the couch again and he can't bring himself to go back in there and watch the train wreck again, he slumps down against the wall and lights a cigarette and ponders leaving here for good this time. No more weekends and a Monday at a friends house, no, this time another town, somehow, somehow.

?Gy?kialso known as: Ushi-oni, Uwajima-no-ushi-oni The gy?ki of Shikoku seems to share some common origin with the great ushi-oni that lurks in the Sea of Japan. Their names are written with the same characters and are in fact completely interchangeable, and aside from that they share a ferocious nature, a tendency to lurk in deep water, a horned head like a fantastic, demonic ox, and a connection to apparitions of women. But the gy?ki is usually conceived of as having a more wholly bovine shape, and prefers to live in fresh water, especially the deep pools underneath waterfalls. While it loves raw meat and has been known to devour men and livestock, it seems to have a slightly less bloodthirsty nature than its saltwater cousin, and in festivals sometimes even takes on a protective function, said to ferociously drive away more malicious spirits.

Congratulations, Gyuuki is awarded first place for Contest Week 64: YoukaiEven though the style you used is very loose there's also a lot of sophistication here. This can especially be seen in the woman's face, which has a high level of detail with being overworked or out of place. Her pose next to this monstrous creature is so perfectly relaxed that even without her horns we might suspect her to be something other than human herself. I also appriciate your ability to use a varied color palette with reds, yellows, blues, greens, and even pitch black together in one composition.

I really like soft, fluffy towels. Um, yeah. So I wanted to draw one. It looks soft to me, hopefully it does to others too and not, uh, watery or low transparency or something. D= If I failed the soft thing let me know.

Oh yeah. Warm towels are the best, right out of the dryer and they smell all nice.Aww, man, but I feel silly. I'd never used an applet that lets you go back and fiddle with stuff before, so I thought since I'd completed the picture I was supposed to pick "finished." Ugh. I'll know better now, I guess. Thank you for the advice, I'll just have to keep it in mind for next time since I bummed up being able to edit this one. XP
