I don't remember the name, but it did have Lory in it, and sun.... hehe.... and emma... oh, just 'cause I'm a frumpy grumpy lately, that's all....
Aubrey (Jun 21, 2004)
I like the blue a lot better than the black, it separated the background from the bird toooo much, the blue makes it feel more apart of its surroundings. Purdy bird :)
emmamommalag (Jun 22, 2004)
Isn't it interesting how we each view things so differently.. to Gigge, the blue brings out the bird more than the black does, for me it's just the opposite.
strawberry (Jun 25, 2004)

I was watching Chamber of Secrets for the first time and was actually surprised to see Jason in the film. *laughs to self* I thought the blond hair was striking on him so I managed to scrape out this pic from an image not even half of the size I drew it from. Gotta love those chilling eyes! *shivers* :D

Haha! i thought that his snake staff was one of those animal mouth grabbers. you know wheres the mouth clamps down and opens back up. awwww, but harry potter is a good movie. My uncles make fun of me by calling me hairy potter. my hair and glasses look like him or sumtin i guess......
Paranoidkittie (Jun 22, 2004)

I recently visited my sister in Wisconsin. This scene is from one of the photos I took of Lake Michigan.

Thanks emma...your sweet...and I think you're right about DMV... I'll bet you just gave him a fresh idea...a sea monster..lol..:) And thanks 'poppa'...I love lighthouses too..:)..btw..you didn't say where you were going on your cruise...curious minds want to know...:) And about the tree..I think its a type of maple tree..it was a little scant and not real full. I tried to do it more like the photo on my second revise. Wisconsin is different..windy and humid at the same time..hot during the day and cold at night..
laurael (Jun 18, 2004)
Very nice, glow...great water and that tree...is so fabulously done...love it!
debem (Jun 18, 2004)
Gorgeous work! The whole piece is great...however, I'm especially impressed by your tree, the sky and the water. Really, really gorgeous. I lived in a suburb of Milwaukee for about four months back in the mid 90's. It is really lovely there.
gloworm043 (Jun 19, 2004)
Thanks very much..:) It is a breathtaking view looking out over lake Michigan...beautiful.

40 and Over Vision Wear

Wear these and you'll be able to:

-Alienate and be alienated by younger generations.
-New styles of music will make you feel ill and very disturbed.
-Refer to the "good old days" once or twice a day.
-Reject anything that poses a threat to your routine.
-Be skeptical of new ideas, feel threatened by change.
-Remind anyone younger than you that "you know better".

People will notice something different, something older about you, but what could it be?

Just tell them "I just got me a new pair of 40 Vision's! They're Swell!"

BUT remember, you don't have to put them on ...although, if you don't, you won't fit in and even worse...you won't be swell.

My philosophy on that is, if you keep your toys and an appreciation of toys, you won't ever get "old" in your mind.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 18, 2004)
how comical, and yet, how true. I think most of the time I wear my "16" vision glasses... I'd like to stay just terminally in a permanent childhood. You know what this made me think of, Clox? You are still in your twenties, right?... when I was twenty-something my Grandmother told me that somewhere around thirty my "eyes" would behave like a snake shedding it's skin and I would see everything in the world so much more clearly. At the time I didn't understand what she was talking about, but sure enough, around 30 something happened and I did view things with more wisdom and understanding. Don't you think that would make a great drawing? A person with snake-skin eyes peeling off? It isn't something I could draw, but I bet you could do it! (please? :)
cmb (Jun 18, 2004)
Whoo hoo! I can wear a pair of 44's now!
Aubrey (Jun 18, 2004)
Agreed on the toy issue! You're only as old as you feel, and most people feel like kids again when they have a toy even if they're 90. If ya ever hand an old lady a doll she had as a kid I bet she could remember everywhere she played with it growing up. Time makes you age.. but the kid in you stays forever.

hmm guess they don't have 21's.. dernit.. ah well, I can wait a few months for the 22's
