Thanks so much sweetcell! You've been really helpful while I've been here. I'll be sure to keep all your tips in mind. I agree on basically everything you say, I sort of thought the hat looks a bit too much like a papper bag, the trees and plants were a bit off and also the shading makes them look...plastic. I'll try adding shadows and keeping the light focused on one area instead of all over the place. Thanks once again for your tips, they are very helpful and encouraging ;D!

Ahh, your welcome keik. Just think of this place as art school, as you progress the teachers help you by giving advice. Some people do take it a little seriously (there are some who can be harsh in their cristicism) but it's all to help you grow, learn. An artist is always learning. You've come a long way. I'm glad to be of help. *smoochies* cause they're better than *hugs*

I really don't think there is such a thing as harsh criticism, it's more like some people think certain things should be a certain way and just give more information on how they feel. Either way I'm fine with it. And I've only come a short way, I have a long way to go but thanks to you guys one 2draw (especially you sweetcell) that I've been able to get to this point.

I'd say it's finished. I drew this for Serabii (Fanart). It's my opinion of her as a cub..I know it's not very good, but I'm not very good at drawing on the computer....

I think it's really quite good, you did a nice job of showing Serabii scared, maybe could've done a little more with the lightning and rain?

Feral fox character.. Kind of. He has three forms. Dark [ which this one will be ], normal, and then child. I'll get to drawing all of them, eventually... but for now, here's my cute fox, Pantoufle. Why his name is the French word for slipper, we may never know.Huzzah. Digital pointilism is time-consuming.

nice use of shadow and relief. Maybe vary the size and color of the texture for better depth?Finished. Annoying, crappy backround. I'll probably change teh BG if I get annoyed enough at it and/or it doesn't qualify for the Intermediate boards, but enjoy, nonetheless. <3

Little too muscular for David Bowie, he seems to have lean muscle (Bowie).But.. The face ( With the "sharp" cheekbones, eyes, and nose) are similiar. More than similiar but yes. |
