New Theme: Greens
marcello (Sep 30, 2003)
As per request, the theme for this week is more general than the previous. You can draw anything, but the image must follow the theme somehow: Greens

A deserted cruiser passes through a barren and humanless void.... the crew gone due to an outbreak of "space flu," and the mass of metal is left suspended in space... I promise to finish later! I really like themes. ^_________^

Nearly done. Just shading the ship.
ShadowKitten (Sep 27, 2003)
I think that you blurred the cruiser too much and it would have looked better if the outline was also blurry.
But thats just my opinion.

Ooh... pretti. My first actual attempt at shading, and it turned out better than I had hoped. Not perfect, but good.

Someone might be watching, but that machine is just too flirtatious for him to resist.
I'll leave this image like this for now, because my mouse is stuttering simply too much for me to do proper lineart or coloring. Maybe later, once I've sacrificed enough cattle to calm it down.

Neko (Sep 24, 2003)
Aww, I thought the salaryman would be a lot more enthusiastic-looking. Now he's rather sheepish.
Sixelab (Sep 27, 2003)
Ahaha that's great. Makes me giggle indeed

I see no mice. Will you add mice later?

I do see a very disturbing face though. Truly. Would make a really neat icon. Also, this is a vending machine I will never me giving my money to. It's too shifty.
marcello (Sep 24, 2003)
I drew it with a mouse, duh.
as for not giving money. it's too late. you already have. For this is the true face of every vending machine in america. a heartless black void that promotes capitalistic consumerism to the minds of every child in the world.
strangeoid (Sep 25, 2003)
Yay Marcello! Down with capitalism and conformity! From now on, I think that we should all be free-spirited thinkers who buy things from foreign countries, just to shift the power of the government into sniveling obscurity. *evil cackling*

Theme for the week of September 22nd, 2003
marcello (edited Sep 30, 2003)
This week is the first SUPER DOUBLE COMBO THEME WEEK!!!!! And you know what that means, not one, but two completely different themes! You get extra points for creatively combining both themes into an ALL NEW IDEA. The two themes for this week are: Vending Machines and Flirting. And just as a side note, since no one seemed to figure this out on their own. Themes are not necessarily intended to be literal ideas, but symbolic and abstracte...

Phew... I thought I lost this.. o__o''
I was told by my grandfather that the boogie man is a purple ghost that gives you nightmares... or something like that.
Besides, I like purple. And green. ^^' C&C appriciated, thanks.

very interesting, who says the boogie man has to be scary looking... --
concannon (edited Sep 5, 2003)
Ooh....neat. I love the speckles of purple all over the guy's face...

And personally, I like the Nightmare Before Christmas boogie man. But maybe that's because I find his burlap sack resemblance a link to my own curious past.....down now. Don't mind my being odd.
mazi (Sep 6, 2003)
ooh i like this a lot but the nose on the boogie man looks like it got mooshed in and theres a bit too much forehead. other than that i really like this pic. the guy on bottom looks awesome.

Also, it's taken awhile, but I'm officially in love with Lascaux sketch.

The transparency is awesome! Gives it a very ghosty effect! I really like, the axe is neat and so are the eyes! spooky
