Nice perspective, and i like how you make it so the light from the opening seems to be so bright, and the cave is so deep. it's always hard for me to do that

Heh..this picture..was..very annoying..if you view the animation you'll see why..why im glad i made it..this is my char Spike..its pretty cool.hes from england ( i use to have a friend named spike, we use to hang out alot..i guess this char is based off of meh old buddy)

again..my art tablet didnt want to work..so i hard to use the mouse on some parts..tell me what you think..and send a memo..im willing to do some collabs with anyone

This is really, Nice.
I like all the gold colors to it.
Very shiny(?).
But I dont think this is good enough for the advance board.
The hair blends in witht the finger.
It seems like its misssing something, And you only spent ah hour and two minutes. (1hr 2min)
I think the standards on this board are atleast 2 hours.

=EDIT= Users should expect to spend a total of atleast two hours on every entry on this board!

ok well first to see something we need light. . pick a light source. and since you're most likely representing 3d objects, try to picture them that way. then think of how the light hits those 3d objects. if it helps any, make a pre-sketch and map out where light hits. in a pic theres gunna be a highlight, a lighter area, a neutral, an area with no light at all, and reflections/shadows. so theres a lot to consider, but doing only the basics first can get you pretty far.

Suggestions??? Don't use PaintBS for starters ^^ The left is kinda outta alignment and the left curve of the face needs to be more smooth. A bit more curved inward.

As for the pic as a whole, I love Yuki!!!!

I only used PainBS because it's the one I know how to use.. Used to do Pchat and Oekaki years ago before I got a tablet.. These other programs confuse me! ><
