Hey what's she planning on doing with that cocke bottle hm?you thought it admit it I just said it! LOL this is one of my characters Artica (she's a chubby polarbear) i got this idea from the cocke comercials and well having a nifty nac for turning annything i see in to a perversion i ended up with this took me for fing ever to do well i red a coulpple of online comics at the same time then hm what's up with me an these fatty furries now a days i cant get the thought outta my head oh done by an old crummy mouse offcourse ps: how much does a palet cost?

maybe if you had everything but they eyes blurred it would really make them stand out (or whatever part of the picture you want to highlight, dosn't have to be the eyes, it was just an example) |

She's pretty and the skin tones and lips are nice. They eyebrows could use some finer marks so they would look more like hair and the same goes for the eyelashes. The eyes don't look bad, but could use some gradient colors and highlights to bring them to life. (listen to me, who cant draw people at all... I do know what I see, however.) I think this could be really good with some more work.

Ok, a little art history on myself. I grew up drawing, never took any professional art classes/courses, etc. Thus, i've never studied the basics in depth, like this stuff (which might be why i sux0rs so much =) ). So i was told to do more of this stuff and life drawings. Crits please. I know the shadow of the sphere's off.

Well, if you're open to any critique, then I'd say here are a couple things to look at: First off, you might wanna smooth the lines out more just so it looks more professionally executed, second, you may want the outline (if you're gonna have an outline at all) to have gradation as the shadows come to light. Example: take a look at the top of that ball there, and make the outline that goes around there, baaaaarely visible/very light color (again, assuming you even want an outline. realism has no outlines.). Third, define a core shadow, the darkest dark area on the object (example: the bottom right region of the ball). Fourth, you want to define the reflective light (the light reflecting off the surface the object is on and back onto the object itself). It's a very thin light color line that goes outside and around the core shadow. uh yea...new here, didnt expect it to take so long to draw....didnt have any ideas at first ^^; shirts spose to say "I dont forget, I just dont care", wording was a lil hard to sort out so yea....anyways hope you guys like it.

I like it. The facial expression is nice, the small glasses are a very nice touch. The hair is well done and the background is interesting.Welcome. EDIT: Never worry about the time. I think, the longer you can spend on a picture, the better. It sure beats people who draw a stick figure for 5 minutes and then say it sucks, no shit. ^.^
