Lately, this site has been making me feel that none of my works are good enough... no matter how hard I try, I get shot down... It has lowered my drawing mood a bit...

Added more details... to the wooden cabinets, skin, fingers (yes... I have nails) one of my neck moles, (few more of those to add...) and that grey splotch is a pencil sharpener. and a tray... I'll do more with it when I get a chance.. right now, *sneezes* D:
Aside from physical craptasticness... I feel much better mentaly, emotionally and uh artisticly? xD <3

Yes, it is looking better, and I whole heartedly recommend Oekaki shi, so much easier to use, not as frightening, and you have more than one kind of medium. My first pictures I started in Lascaux, and at first I liked it better, then I tried Shi, and let me tell you the difference is incredible, for me. I do try lascaux on occasion, but I'm a shi painter. Take everyones advice to heart and you'll get better. Never give up, never surrender.

I'm sorry I had a Galaxy Quest feedback for a second there.

Add some shadows to the arms, figure out where the light source is and apply accordingly, maybe some shadows under the chin to define the head, and work on the eyes and lips more to make them pop out. It's coming along, you finish this.

Added shading from light hitting forward... switched things around (I'm right handed and my watch is on my left wrist, and the neck mole is on the right side.. replaced with a tiny cheek mole and 2 on my right wrist. Added shading to the walls, made the blotch look like a sharpener, and put an outlet right next to it. I have a feeling something's wrong with the right arm... out too far maybe? Eh.. I'll see what I can do with it...

Been a while since I started this, life got in the way. Lack of motivation Plus I've been ignoring mouse doodles for pencil drawings now that my scanner is back up. Alot has happened then. My watch broke and my hairstyle is.... slightly different. The bangs are braided and I feel I'm done with this piece.

So how is that celebration going after the disaster? Stay off of Bourbon Street! That place is scary any night of the year. (I wondered... did it completely destroy the lace balconies there? I always thought they were so pretty)

it went well Cindy i went to the big easy for a few hours it was ljust a little less crowded then normal still lots of fun
lace balconies are still there though some are gone
and Bourbon Street is the best just look out for the pot holes they will eat your whole foot down by the house of blues:)
and ya i had 5 king cakes and got 3 babys

Mardi Gras has been held in Louisiana for over a 100 years, maybe longer, so to skip a year would be very bad.
In Louisiana Mardi Gras is the best day of the year. Lundi Gras is good too.

There are many types of Mardi Gras:
1. Chicken run (Drunk people on horses chasing chickens)
2. Family Parades (not so many drunk people)
3. City Hall Balls (rich drunk people)
4. NawLands Parade (everyone is drunk)
5. And much much more.......

King Cake is a multi colored cake that has a baby in it.
If you get the baby you must buy the next king Cake, It goes on for weeks.
King Cake is made all over the place so it comes in many different forms and flavors.
So you never know what type of king Cake you�ll get, but you it will taste great.

Hrrm.. A suggestion if I may? Both wings look like they are on the same side.. you should draw the left wing joint beside and attached to the left forward shoulder to make it look like the wings are on separate sides of the body.. Again, Just a suggestion..

Ha, good luck with that. I tried it, but it didn't fly so well. XD Realism is so much harder than drawing anime-style. It looks good though; the shading and detail especially. Although I think the finger next to your pinky is a bit off.
