Basic Drill

Apple from life. Wouldn't it be great if we could see more of this type of stuff on the beginners board?

EDIT: Crits are very welcome. I think tones on the bottom of the apple aren't dark enough and look flat.

ooh what a very ripe apple. :D I hate apples, but this makes me want to get one and eat it. :P wonderfuljob, maybe darken the bottom of the apple? :P <3

bits look like oils and bits look a bit flat, but the good bits are better than the bad bits and all i want is big bites

Let go of what you think it should look like when using a pencil, and use only what you see in your mind. Afterall, you are not drawing with a pencil, pen, marker, etc...and yes, my first drawing was freaky. tanoshii shyuumatsu wo - Shirokuma
