I think this looks much like my 'playground' when I was a kid.. although I wish I'd had real mountains.I had no clue what I was planning on making when I started this, I've just gotten on here and wanted to make my first shot at applet drawing. I'm pleasantly surprised. I've got experience by hand or through Photoshop, but nothing quite like this. I think I'm hooked.

I wanted to play with the one color monochromatic pallette so I attempted it with red. He was supposed to be somebody but it didn't quite work out right... Anywho, I'm new, hello to everyone.

I was driving to the casino on Friday, I looked to the west from Airport Blvd. and saw a single cloud. It struck me as slightly odd, this lonely single little cloud just hanging there in the middle of a crisp blue sky over the Rocky Mountains. A minute later when I reached the I-70 exit I looked again and it was gone. I made a mental note and wished I had remembered my camera. So this is from memory, best I could remember. I was thinking of adding something surreal later to make it more interesting.

umm I have the world's only antique stash... i found an old baggie from 1973 when I cleaned out my college desk..and found some...um.."remnants" from some Acapulco Gold... I am thinking of having it bronzed... or..maybe I will see if it's still any good..and come look at this piccy again...... or..I will be arrested when this is read...

Not finished-but I'm much too tired to work on it tonight. Just wanted to get the idea on paper (so to speak). ^__^ I'll probably change the position (and size) of the vanity...It doesn't quite look right...o_O

This is coming along nicely..need more in the background... you can memo one of the moderators to see if they will give you more space, there are instructions on the main page how to do thisFinally done. :) The vanity became a staircase when I realized that although I cannot draw a vanity, I can draw one mean staircase. ^_^

I think the staircase was a good decision.. I like what you've done.. but if you have any space left to do it.. you might put a little something on the wall back there ? or not.. I think i would find it more visually pleasing if the outline of the woman was a tad sharper too because, as you have it here..the staircase in the background..is sharper than the main figure in the foreground.. which is kind of reverse reality... just a suggestion and the others may not agree
