Felistorm (edited Feb 17, 2006)
I'm arachnophobic myself but have always been completely enthralled by garden spiders. :D I forgot to add that I saw this one in a childrens book and kinda fixed it up some. ;) Ihad a picture of my neice going a couple of days ago and got sooooo upset cause I had it looking good and my browser closed and it would never come back up. Ugh. :O :P

I'm with you ,Jana. I am not a big fan of them, either..but they do fascinate me. I did one too, a long time back..creeped me out doing it.

This is really well done. I like the little tendrils of vegetation coming down the shaft.

One of those really strange pictures where everything falls into place out of no where and suddenly takes you off in an odd direction. A few laid back style which fits the scene.

Theres a couple of areas which do look a little "mismatched", but they are ment to be that way. Hopefully this counts as intermediate as I'm not sure but it seems a bit beyond the beginner board.

I love the gentle shades of colour you have used..most would use quite strong colours to convery this kind of image, so I like it being different. :D

girl: How are you today?
Death: GOOD?
girl: See I'm curtsying and being polite, so please...don't kill me.
Death: OH, I'M NOT KILLING YOU. I'M HERE FOR YOUR BROTHER.
girl: Oh! Why didn't you just say so? I've been waiting for this day forever!

staci (edited Feb 16, 2006)
thats some really piss poor spelling. :P but a very interesting image i think.
Zack (Feb 17, 2006)
This looks like the waist of a woman wearing a multicolored skirt. I really dig the colors going on in this.
Gigandas (Feb 23, 2006)
To me, it's actually more amazing that jimno pulled off such nice flesh tones with all those colors. Even if you try imagining it to be anything else (like a shirt she's wearing), you just can't.

Simple Simon met a pie-man going to the fair
Said Simple Simon to the pie-man "Let me taste your ware"
Said the pie-man to Simple Simon "Let me see your penny"
Said Simple Simon to the pie-man "But I haven't any"

So simple yet so lovely, and yes the definition of a weed is a plant growing somewhere its not wanted! Nice image is this! :D
SYTHE (edited Feb 18, 2006)
Simple Simon from the Pie-Man took as much as he could take
So, the Pie-Man, Simple Simon did bludgeon with a rake
Then Marie Antoinette said, "Let them eat cake!"
(Where did that come from?) Great picture!

Momma had a baby and her head popped off

I am the only one who thinks or even knows those words while looking at this picture?
I had a neighbor who used to make dandelion wine. She lived to be 100, I don't know what effect the wine had on that.
This is a nice piece Axil.
Axil62 (Feb 18, 2006)
I heard it as "Fat ole lady had a fat ole baby an er head popped off!"
