enjoying pot
DejasView (Mar 9, 2006)
I've always thought Dad's house in Glacier View would be the perfect place to do the whole pottery and kiln thing with that huge garage and giant studio above it and that glorious picture window looking out onto the surrounding forests and valleys. We'd probably have to buy the clay from somewhere though. Soil from that kind of mountain terrain probably wouldn't work on it's own. I think we should try to get it back from Linda. You have my hands aching to hold and mold some clay now.

I would love that...the getting dad's place back and having that huge studio to do stuff in and trying to sell it. not just pottery, paintings and such.

You'd have to do something about improving the well, and get a bigger cistern. Good Idea though, then I could come and visit it again someday. lol.

Picture of Sephiroth summoning forth dark clouds, as shown in a scene from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Paused the movie for reference, but the perspective still isn't quite right.. But it's good enough. xD Meh.EDIT: Lost the data when my internet went out. See the full image here! http://www.deviantart.com/view/30287519/ Finally getting along with it. Got the pauldrons almost done. Just another safety save, just incase. Still dark clouds outside.
So far, so good. :3
blahaha (Mar 9, 2006)
One of the coolest scenes in the movie I say. Wonderful job so far. Keep on truckin'.

Hell yeah, alright, very sweet. I still have our old snes with all of our old games, play it daily. Currently introducing the five year old I babysit to Zelda and Yoshi's Island...oh yes, another fan is born. :D :D Great pic, really, nice and painterly. The white/purple thing is too fkn perfect.
Qwerty_Wittle_Fawah (Mar 10, 2006)
I love you. That is freaking awesome! This brings back soo many memories...I wish my SNES worked :-/.This just makes me smile (omg vampire: yes! Yoshi's Island was awesome!)

I also liked the one where you pressed down on the thing in the front and it popped open so you could put the cartridge it it. the name slips my mind, though. |

I had a blown glass ball with that same kind of purple shine like oil in puddles. I liked it. Unfortunatly, cats like shiney things too, so the glown glass ball is no more. This is beautiful.
HunterKiller_ (Mar 9, 2006)
Great as usual, but i think the reflections on the right look pretty flat, unlike your second awesomely 3d pot. [/nitpick]

It looks like you're trying to rely on the blur tool too much.In my opinion, you should use the blur tool as little as possible and just use the colours, tools and different opacitys and techniques to blend colours. I think the blur tool just makes things look blurry and doesn't blend very well at all. The second version of this caught my eye...hope you keep going |
