that image was a basis, trying to do realism, with my surrealist backgrounds.... but, she reminds me of a monkey, dont have enough energy to detial the necklace and headdress....

Hehe, no worries Kristine. Critiques are super cool things to get. Although praise is very nice, especially when sincere, critiques mean that someone took the time to look at the picture and put their thoughts into words. You're absolutely right about the eyes and the cheeks. I started drawing 'life size' so the eyes and cheeks are actually the same size as the reference. But, then I changed my mind and decided I didn't really like the face in the ref and made the nose and mouth smaller. I'll try to pay more attention to proportions next time. :)

Thanks DBA and Dave. I wish I could make the rest of the picture match the eyes. It's good to have goals.
