Nice one, Giselle. I always like stuff with bold colors. Looks like she's running away from something she doesn't want to hear.

I like yours better than his.. it's more "in your face" |

Is she flicking me off with her cigarette?!? I was going to say I liked it.....well, I still like it.
MellonCollie (Jan 17, 2006)
I think she's a little moody today. She hasn't taken her meds. o_oShmanks!
emmamommalag (Jan 18, 2006)
I like the shine on her hair. She oughta ditch that cigarette, though... bad for her health. |

Because no one wants to be friends with bees.
Ty854 (Jan 1, 2006)
I've never been stung. :)
laurael (Jan 1, 2006)
Hope you never 'get' stung, either. It hurts. :( I got stung when I was, like, five...right on the top lip...sent me right into a phobia of bees...*shudder*
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jan 1, 2006)
I do, I love bees. I had one in my hair just the other day and he was all tangled up and I gently pulled him out and took him outside and he didn't even sting me. Honey is good stuff. :)(bee stings are fun compared to scorpions and those huge red and black wasp looking things that paralyze tarantulas and drag them around. one of those stung me one time and it felt like somebody stuck a hot nail through my foot)

Yeah.. I think this picture is awesome.. If only i could color better. I wanted to change it and make the lineart and coloring better, but unfortunatly there wasn't anymore space. Ah well.. Maybe Xod and I could do another drawing and I could show that I can maybe color better... ^^ Plus.. who better to collab with on this type of stuff than my man Xod. Lol >:D

Death, that hath suck'd the honey of thy breath,Hath had no power yet upon thy beauty: Thou art not conquer'd; beauty's ensign yet Is crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks, And death's pale flag is not advanced there
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Oct 1, 2004)
"Give me my Romeo; and when I shall die Take him and cut him out in little stars, And he will make the face of heaven so fine That all the world will be in love with night, And pay no worship to the garish sun. O, I have bought the mansion of a love But not possess'd it, and though I am sold, Not yet enjoy'd." In the first version he is there, and in the second, he is missing.
davincipoppalag (edited Oct 2, 2004)
"Go,tell the prince,--run to the Capulets,Raise up the Montagues.. We see the ground whereon these woes do lie: But the true ground of all these piteous woes, We cannot without circumstance descry." Lovely picture miss staci
Aubrey (Oct 2, 2004)
Very nice. Romeo and Juliet was great and the versions would be perfect front and back covers for Shakespeare's play girly :)

...shall I believe that insubstantial death is amorous and that the lean, abhorred monster keeps thee here in dark to be his paramour? For fear of that, I still will stay with thee; never from this palace of dim night depart again. Here, here will I remain...with worms that are thy chambermaids. Eyes, look your last. Arms, take your last embrace. And lips, oh you the doors of breath, seal with a righteous kiss a dateless bargain with engrossing death. Here's to my love. Thus, with a kiss, I die.(I memorized the entire play 37 years ago. Have forgotten big chunks of it. Touring your userboard and came upon this. Fits my mood today.) A glooming peace this morning with it brings. The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head, for never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo. |

I've asked my sister for a character she would like me to draw, and there it is, this is Laureen, a character of mine. Nothing more to say, I love her white hair.I've tried to delete it, but I couldn't so, until I find out the way to delete this it'll be like that.
fleeting_memory (Jan 17, 2006)
I thought it looked very nice and I enjoyed looking at it_I am sad that you took it away :(
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jan 17, 2006)
I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, it's just that a very important part of art is to know the subject you are painting. It's a very minor thing, and probably only I would have noticed it... the arrow would just be on a "rest" part of the bow, and her hand would be slightly lower, that's all. It's still a very nice picture, regardless.
marcello (Jan 18, 2006)
Hrm, but do all (namely, medieval) bows have the rest part? In any case, I do believe the arrow would be on the other side of the bow. I'm not sure why, but for some reason that just makes more sense to me.edit: Maybe not, but you're right about the hand being lower, and that arrowhead is way too big. |

Earth dragons resemble fighting bulls, with thick necks and capable of powerfull bursts of energy. They cannot take off from the ground and glide rather that fly, but they can flap their manta like wings to gain alittle altitude. Their breath weapon is a stream of strong red acid.
