I dont do anime that much... although it is another one of my cliche face portraits, its still a slight break out of the ordinary.EDIT: What I meant by slight was not slight.

I have to agree with Mellon (nick name, sort of anyway). I absolutly love the way you came up with the idea of those colors. I also like the pose, coloring, and background...hehe...Pretty much the whole thing.

Look at the beautiful tear on this scrap of paper! Incidentally, did you know "tear" (to tear paper) is spelled the same as "tear" (a drop of salty fluid that comes from the eye).

Originally I was going to have it more black and white. Then I decided to add some blue-ish tinting, but that didn't fly, so I went with yellow-ish tinting. Just about any color looks "Okay" as long as it looks kinda diffused.

Love the look of this peice, the only thing that could be improved is the cheek. Maybe round it out alittle more.

thanks all:) ..yeah Sythe, i messed around with the cheek a lot...rounding it out and going over it again...was having trouble with it looking too 'rounded' against the other cheek...i know i'll draw someone in this style again and i'll get the cheeks right in that one...but for this...well..i'm happy enough with it :)
