I wanted to post this to the intermediate board.*sighs* what’s done is done -_-

A wind-up clown wrapped with a bow was given to a child. To her he gave the gift of laughter. She would wind him up & he would dance and play. He watched as she grew and he loved her. One day she grew up and moved far away. Then there was no one to dance for and he did not want to play. So with no one to wind him he wound down and died of a broken heart.

This is a good drawing. It has interest, a story, great colors and it's well drawn.

omg this is beautiful. To me his facial exression kind of gives of that hes sitting in his suite (x_x sp?) waiting for his turn to die or something. i love this.

In the town where I was raised
Clock ticks and the cattle graze
Time passed with Amazing Grace
Back where I come from

You can lie on a river bank
Paint your name on a water tank
Miscount all the beers you drank
Back where I come from

Back where I come from
Where I'll be when it's said and done
Well, I'm proud as anyone
That's where I come from

We learned in Sunday school, who made the sun shine through
know who made the moon shine, too
Back where I come from

Blue eyes on a Saturday night
Tan legs in the broad daylight
TV's, they were black and white
Back where I come from....

His eyes are gorgeous. I also really like the bleak colors. It really gives you a sense for what this guy is like, or at least what he's feeling at the moment. Very cool.

Stylish nose - A smiling moustache - eccentric character - he seems comfortable with who he is. great work. (you inspire also)

Waves... pulsating, whispering, hypnotic. Irresistible... warm and soothing. Until the rip tide tears you under and drags you into the cold, dark water.

i love the way you did the limbs. my favorite thing about this is the way you did the toes, though. i also like the non-background background. very nice!
Alex-Cooper (edited Jun 13, 2005)
I dig the feet. Say, Zep; would you happen to have any of your traditional artwork online? I really want to see what kind of work you can do when not infront of the computer.
*update: Wicked sweet, Zep. Memo me when you get your site down pat. Or just start a forum showing it off. I'm actually contemplating becoming a print maker myself. So I’m wicked interested in learning more about it.
zep (Jun 13, 2005)
