I've thought about drawing like this for a while. Atmosphere is important for many things, including books and music too. I think her nose and mouth are really cute, and since I wasn't looking at anything while drawing I could make them how I liked. Drawing hands is scary though.

I've always had an obsession with birds, with their ability to fly, with their hollow bones and above all, their capacity for freedom. When I was a little girl, I collected feathers in hopes that I could charm them and turn into a bird of my choice. I have the memory of flight, and I do not know where it comes from. I, earthbound creature, must be content to watch as these feathered things - all air and hollow light - soar above me on the thermals above highway twenty-one out of Jacksonville. I would think they taunt me, but birds are not cruel, they are not human, and have no capacity for such things... (I wish I could fly.) Finished now. I don't really have anything else to add. Sorry about the short timer?

I'm trying for more of my pencil work up here, it's hard to translate sometimes.Mooki - It's done now (obviously, lol), but thanks. :) Cameo - I'm not a fan of colour, I don't see it well and I don't really like working with it - I have to learn someday, I guess. UnWanted - I suppose? I'd wanted to do more with it, but meh, you know, I got distracted and then she flew away or somesuch nonsense. Axil - Not your pants. |

I would appreciate it if someone would add to this and perhaps clean it up a bit. I'm also having someone else add to this drawing in a separate collaboration on another website (a Photoshop collab). I'm trying to get 2 different takes on this, if anyone wants to take a crack at it, please say so in a comment below or memo me. You have to be at the intermediate level or higher to qualify for this collab, I only need one person. Thanks.

Wanted to do something new an involving The Predator so I thought *meh* why not both.Soooo not done. I'm in a bit of an art funk right now. Forcing myself to draw. Dontcha hate art funks? You want to scream GO AWAY ART FUNK, LEAVE ME ALONE. Bitch. *sigh*
