oh..thought so. My son lives in Aurora, Illinois..thought that would be pretty coincidental!
Cameo (Dec 29, 2007)
Beautiful, Axil! Wish it would snow like that here!
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jan 21, 2008)
You somehow captured the incredibly elusive "cold" palette.... I get goosebumps just looking at this. Gotta go find a sweatshirt. :)
KuteDymples (Jan 24, 2008)
The picture is incredibly beautiful, but snow! I hate the stuff. I am originally from Michigan as well and I am so glad we barely see any of that crap in Kentucky. In fact today is the first day we have had it all year and I hate it. I am with you DBA, I had to go find my fuzzy slippers after seeing this. Awesome pic though Kloxboy!

A tribute to the girl with four arms and four legs.

That face is really well done. Very disturbing image overall... was there really a girl like that? Why draw this?
shalalaheartattack (Dec 22, 2007)
This is turning out to be very lovely.
The story of this girl is amazing, and that makes it an even more powerful image.
thefuturesteve (Dec 23, 2007)
Yeah. She was born with her parasitic, underdeveloped twin attached to her. She had two sets of lungs and kidneys and there was basically a whole second bone structure attached to her at the groin. She successfully survived the surgery to remove the twin, and in tribute to the wonderfully odd yet beautiful image she conveyed as a conjoined twin, I wanted to paint her... and since I rarely paint on canvas with... paint, I did it here instead. :) Thanks for comments:)

Beautiful work :)
Zack (Dec 27, 2007)
Just looking at this makes me feel chilly. Great capture of the mood, there's no mistaking this for anything but a cold morning.
Axil62 (Dec 27, 2007)
Thanks.
KuteDymples (Jan 24, 2008)
And yet another wonderful image Axil! So nice and crisp I can surely feel the coldness coming from this. The light looks good to me, but then again...what the heck do I know. Just know when I like something, and this is one that I really like.

Well well well, I totally know your art when I see it, and one very good reason to change my status from 'Lurk' to 'Active'
alienmushroom (Dec 21, 2007)

Stryk_Nine (Feb 18, 2008)
This is really pretty =]
The eyes in the mouth remind me of that one monster from Galerians. *shudders*
Very beautiful and creative ^_^

Thank everyone so much. As far as the little dots....I didn't put each one on there by hand. I used texture tools. When I am able to get back on the drawing applet (sucky computer right now, can't get java) I will explain a bit how I did it.
Pikameu (Feb 8, 2008)
I seriously want to go cuddle toilet paper now...

Say this one packs a fight
Just crazy, out of my mind
Say sorry, yeah its all right
Just give me back what you took that night
I wanna tell you now
I wanna say it full out
I wanna get up in your face
And tear your thoughts right out
I wanna tell you, tell you now
I’m gonna tell you, tell you how
You didnt change my mind
You didnt do a thing
'Cept made me hate myself
And made me fear everything
You thought I’d run and hide
And keep it all inside
How can you see me
And think its alright?
I wanna tell you now

Oh she is furious and just beautiful. Passion is certainly felt when looking at this. Wonderful art, I keep trying to read what is around her though. It is interesting, but I can't make it out.

But you can't make the guilty pay.
You can cage an animal, but you can't take away it's rage.

Awesome style, very well done. I will have to look at Fliker for some ref pics, never thought of looking there. Although I could try, but never achieve the greatness that you have here even looking at a reference. Too old to give up now though. LOL

Nicely done. Good tones. I'm guessing her hair's up?
Axil62 (Nov 30, 2007)
I'm guessing it's a him.
Kloxboy (Nov 30, 2007)
I agree with Dan, it's most likely a him. The v-like shape of the clavicle, the large trapezius muscles and the size of the deltoid(s) are all, anatomically, very male. I think the only thing that throws me off are the pecs, they look like they're the start of breasts. Maybe this was meant to be sexually ambiguous?
MelissaMissy (edited Jan 29, 2008)
A hermaphrodite or a man with very severe man boobs...
I think it's most likely a him. Looks like Clark Kent...even with only the bottom bit of his head..
