Jan Saudek's "The Belly of the Night".

Jan Saudek is one of my favourite photographers. His pictures are unapologetic, to say the least, and they hit you like a punch to the face. When I saw this contest I immediately thought of him.

If you watch the animation you'll see I had a hell of a time with the face, and I wish I could have cropped the canvas after finishing the piece. (That is obviously not going to happen.)
I'm not great with backgrounds, but I gave it a shot.
Also, I hope my lack of experience in the nude department isn't too terribly apparent.

This piece literally explodes with anger represented by the bullet going through the heart and you can feel the emotional pain behind it. TripleE313 was able to convey that rawest of emotion and allow us to share, briefly, that rage. Hope you feel better now sweeting. :D

Very nice on the shading/coloring! I think the arms might've needed to be a little higher up, but overall a very nice entry. ^_^ She's so pretty, I just don't know what she'd be frustrated over!

I like the snarly sneering mouth. It looks cool and the colour is pretty.
I can't really do that with my face, I just sort of look confused or constipated.

That is cool, very snarly. Female, male, a whore is a whore. Of course, a whore to one person might just be a "sexually open" person to another. Personally, I think it's much more fulfilling to devote all your love to one person, to be loyal to that one person and only that person. I'm not saying it's bad for 2 people to just have sex for the sake of pleasure (it can be just what the doctor ordered if you're single), it's just not as fulfilling without the love, as well, it's a bit more dangerous to sleep with multiple partners, especially in the long run.

yeah, i completely agree with you.
yet i try to explain myself like this to this other person and he seems to act like it's a forieng concept.
more partners=more likely to catch a disease= more drama
i don't want my life ending cause he made poor judgement on who he thoguht he'd sleep with.

and yeah sex without soeme sort of deep emotion is like mutual masturbation.
