hard lines and halftones are so much 1337er than the smudgey blur stuff.

Maybe it's an epidemic... Sigh.
Halftones have their own charms, of course. Some people can really pull them off, and make it look better than watercolor shading in some ways. Maybe I ought to try them sometime...And see how I'm not exactly 'some people...' Yeeeeh.
