ok, first I apologize for a less detailed critique of this piece. There are a couple problems, but mainly the problem lies in the head and face. The way you've defined the features, and high forehead make the face look more masculine than feminine. Additionally the hair doesn't seem to flow very nicely off the head, and has a more 'tacked on' look than actual hair on the body. last of all the porportion and placement of the head seems a little off relative to the rest of the body. I'd give her a bit more neck and perhaps a slightly taller head (though that might be an illusion from the hair).
Better yet, erase the head and try again, because a face is much of what makes an individual, a lot of attention must be spent on it.

As for not being able to do "any fucking better," perhaps I can't, but I think I'll take you up on that challenge. haven't been motivated to draw much recently. :-)

The proportions of the lady in red are generally okay, apart from the head *gulp*. As a general guide, the average woman, when her height is measured in head heights, is 6 and a half heads high. This varies of course from woman to woman, but it is a good general guide. This 6 and a half is made up of 1 for the head, 2 for the torso, 3 for the legs, and the rest for the neck (third to a half). Measuring your figure in head heights, your lady is about 10 in total..so either shrink the body or enlarge the head and it should look more natural. Another, rather odd body proportions guide is that your feet are the same length as your forearm (elbow to wrist). The rest of the body looks quite good, but on your next lady pic make sure the arms are the same thickness and length, and remember that fingers have joints in them (!). Hope this is of some help...
