Just so yall know a discoma mushroom is a type of (zooanthid sp.) soft coral animal. It's not a plant or an animal or male or female or really a coral or an anemone because it has no hard skeleton structure. Individual polyps are asexual & have a sticky foot thing like an anemone. They can slowly creep over rocks or let go of them & float around to find a new home but are usually found in clusters on rocks. I have some like the green striped ones in the pic in my saltwater tank. My mushrooms have been making lots of little mushrooms lately! GO SHRUMIES
