Thanks everyone! I found the blue light to be too distracting given the colors of the rest of the image. Rather than being another point of interest to pull your eye around the composition, it tended to make your eye stick there. I think the orange light has a better balance against the yellow overhead light and does a better job of moving your eye across the details of the mecha.

I actually don't really like the person. it doesn't have the same level of detail as the rest of the picture. I'm left wondering if it's some sort of alien or something (the curious proportions help with that), which loses its ability to help give a sense of the scale of the mech. I would expect to see a crouched old dude with several overcoats, heavy figure, and probably no seat (just a logistical thing, I don't think he'd be sitting in one place for long enough to be beneficial, besides, he or she is too cool for a stool).
it'd be so sweet to see a high def version of this.

How freaky would that be to be workin on such a huge robot that has such a large weapon in such a darkened room all by yourself. Even not all by yourself. Would scare the poo right out of me! This is so cool though Zack! You managed to make the whole picture feel alot bigger than it is on the screen.
