well see... it's not like people who smoke don't KNOW it's a bad thing to do.. I mean, derrr... but still.... I tried several ways of quitting, and none will work as long as I feel stressed or overwhelmed or whatever... ya know? It broke my heart years ago when my son and his friend saw me smoke a cigarette and said, "Why do you want to kill yourself"? I didn't know what to say. But now I do. I don't. It's only that some people cannot find a way to quit.(more to that story)...
If they shut down the companies we could all freak out together... how would that be? lol I don't think so.
I was in an anti smoking group once, and this girl who was running it looked at me all evil and then I got a vision of what will become of me should I continue smoking and I was like? wtf? so ya know.... "what a looong strange TRIP it's been"... gimme a break man... I'm so tired of people shittin on me for bein' me.

Maybe one day, but yeah it's ironic that these companies (subsadized by the government) get you hooked then said government turns around and says "Op, can't smoke inside anymore, danger to the non-smokers you know. You'll have to go outside where it's scoarching heat or bitter cold. But we're still gonna tax ya."
I live in an all smoker family. It sucks. My doctor tells me I might be getting emphazima. Or however you spell it. And I'm only thirteen. I would never smoke, for the sake of my lungs. I have asthma, so its bad enough. And I think that the fact that I might be getting lung cancer is stopping my parents now. They've cut back, for my sake.
as well as this household... I grew up with smoker parents.... and then my sisters... and then I tried one.... and bam, the rest is history... and now my poor son pays also and I still live with two smokers, though not my mother anymore, my stepmother....
they do not seem to be willing to remove themselves from around my son when they smoke, yet I am.... how do I stop smoking when I want to stay here and be there for them as they age, and when I know, I myself need the help with my son sometimes?
I'm sorry for you WMG, and everyone else who suffers from it.
Some places will not even allow you to smoke outside. Well then stop making the dang things!!!!! If non smokers seem to think they can take over the world... or parts thereof... then go right ahead and see what will happen... ya know?
