See, this girl would fit my castle in the red princess' picture. I have to go to bed now, so I'l finish her later.

... how do you spell rennaissance, anyway? ....

Edit: She now has a face and hair

This is pretty! It rather reminds me of the Elizabethan Barmaid I'm working on at the moment, actually, I was kind of surprised to see another piece here so similar in appearance. <smile>

By the by -- in answer to your question, it's spelled "renaissance", meaning "rebirth" (which is how I remember not to double the "n", because it's re-naissance, if you break the word down into its component parts).

And, not to be picky, but the costume isn't renaissance in style -- that would be more like your classic "Romeo & Juliet" style of clothing. This dress style is more like those from about 100 years later, at least; but it's well executed, which is what matters -- <smile> -- not a slip of the tongue in labelling the era.

And yes, I know the style of dress is common at "Renaissance Faires", but they usually include a mixture of historical eras in their costuming, etc., which I think confuses people. <wry chuckle>
