I've been wanting to draw this for the longest time, the ref's from a textile site when I was looking for ideas for another draw and I downloaded this cause it was pretty. I tried to get the inky watercolor effect that comes from using Japanese inks and brushes, don't know if it worked, but I likey.

Wow :D! It looks very much like ink, especially in the way it fades out. Great use of textures too ^_^.

This image is very nice, it looks pretty similar to the style you were aiming for. I think it's called sumi-e.

(*_*) I just LOVE stuff like this..So pretty <3..(;D;) Agh, you should try to make a watercolor painting on here of a Kabuki warrior. That'd be awesome (although, much harder that drawing flowers XD;; )
