I had a rude awakening as to what a transvestite was when I was dragged to the "nice side of town" in Houston one night ...the corner of Westheimer and Montrose, to be exact. I was wearing wranglers and my pink ropers when a very large black man attired in a green tutu, fishnet stockings, very tacky false eyelashes (I think it bears mentioning he was totally bald) and some kind of platform shoes... busted some sort of prissy move, pointed at my boots and said... "nice shitkickers, honey, I didn't know they made those in pink... you're soooo cute"

I had nightmares for weeks.
