Both draw and song are heart wrenching. Love them both, and this looks like it's gonna be a powerful tribute. (In case you haven't heard the ones you've mentioned played acoustically, check them out. TR is frighteningly emotionally charged when he delivers them live.)

Thanks Alter ;) I have heard those accoustically. Jhonny Cash's version of Hurt is very powerful, also the piano version Trent plays live is beautiful.

One more thing, this drawing wasn't intended to be a tribute... it's more like a reflection of how I feel right now. But, since I was hearing Mr. Self Destruct at the begining, I figured the title fited very well.

It's okay to be tired and sad sometimes, but just for a little while. I'm with you there.... we just can't stay here. It will help if you'll stop getting shot all the time, see... that in itself can be very depressing. :) We'll get you a vest and I'll watch your back. (It's also a lot more fun if you get a bigger, badder gun and start shooting back)

Really like the drawing. I have a cd of theirs around here somewhere, I loved some of the songs on it... I had forgotten about it. Very sensual band, as much fun to watch as they are to listen to. Funny thing... there's at least one song on there that I had to make sure MY mother didn't hear... and I'm a BIG GIRL NOW :).

Dave: I'm thankfull that I can direct my feelings in a non destructive way, such as drawing. I feel better now, thought I still have some issues to fix (Kn both my life and the drawing).
