It's a good thing to spend lots of time on pictures, obviously...but something weird happens when I take too long. If I work on a picture for over like 50 minutes, when I finally send it, all the settings are back to default (i.e. greeting message is "hello, taori", site theme is the normal purple one). Is it just another of oekaki's quirks?

Nothing bad has happened to me while working with Oekaki, So I wouldn't now, but yes, I think that it is a quirk. I wonder why no one follows the example of the people who've lost pictures, and have been unable to finish their pictures. If all these horrible things happen to people, and everyone knows about it (since everyone complains once in a while) WHY do people STILL CONTINUE to use Oekaki? >< If no one uses it, than nothing bad can happen, right?

this happens not only in oekaki. i think it's something about the cookie expiring or something like that... or is it? don't think marcello ever figured out the problem, but that's not something we're worrying about for v2.

it's some vague bug somewhere in the submission code, it happens regularly on lascaux, when submitting a continue. I don't use any of the other applets enough to verify the problem there.
Since 2draw 2 preferences system (and submission system, for that matter) is completely different, I'll only worry about the bug if I find it in the new site. |

Bleh, okay, at least it's not my computer being a jerk. I should just stop using oekaki, but I'm a major creature of habit; I can't seem to figure out where half the tools are in paint, and lack the ambition to find out. I'll just have to live with it. Thanks!

It happened once to me. I was kinda freaked cuz I thought I lost my pic and was logged out but I just changed it back to my original settings and went on with my life! I'm not sure why it happened, though. Hmmm...

That doesn't happen to me....I got a stupid non-related sub question question.....If you choose not to record animation can you stiff continue it later on?

if you mean 'still continue', then yes. But you lose layers and whatnot.
