Not all of them are old, I know where there's a relatively new one near Thurber, Tx, which was, by the way, the first place to have electricity in Texas.. (not the castle, the castle is new... the town, I mean) *chases rabbits* I like the style of this.

I don't think it's off, it depends on where the stone comes from, really. I have seen structures built from stones almost this exact color. I think I have a photo (of a castle, to be exact) that my mother in law gave me from one of her trips to Belgium where the stones are very close to this color. Maybe a little more red in them, but not much.
