I'm sorry to have bothered.

I think the coloring is nicely done, and overall the bodies are in good proportion. The backgrounds also have more detail and are better made than a lot of other people normally bother with. There's a few places where something will be a little off, such as the mouth on the second panel of page two, though. I hope you plan on actually making some art here too, since right now it looks like you just made this account for free self advertising. It'd probably have been better if you had made one or two pictures here before shamelessly advertising your own website. Remember, this is an art community, not a free billboard.

comic looks good. I'm not really keen on the first two pages (they're pretty weak in both art and story, there's a big "why should I give a fuck" feeling with those characters), but the other 4 look good and flow well (for 4 pages).
I understand redpanda's comment, but I don't think it's a big deal to post art on this forum even if you don't draw on the site, it's not like the site is full of ads or something obnoxious.

Marcello, Oh.. no.. I draw a lot. But most of my art is coptrighted by other people, and under agreements so that I cannot post them... I have other images if you all want to see though, that are my own. I just didn't want to come here, and all of a sudden flood. On other places that is considered rude, so I only posted what I was currently working on.

I really wish I hadn't had said anything at this point, but it's obviously too late for that. It's an understandable missunstanding really, especially if you're just given the link to the forums. This is basically an oekaki site, but better because it has more applets to chose from and generally has a better community, most of the time, so everything posted in the galleries was made on this site. My point was only that if you make an account and post a link to yourself without doing anything else, then it gives the impression that you're only here to advertise yourself rather than to be a part of this community. Obviously that doesn't matter, since it's marcello's site and if he doesn't mind then it's not a problem. Nyuusen's comments were really way too harsh, and now I look bad too because they were agreeing with what I had said before.

I didn't mean to seem like I had no spine. All of the points aimed at my comic I took well I thought. It was the personal attacks that angered me. I thought by just leaving you all be I'd be making it easier on everyone. And I certainly didn't want to draw attention, although Nyuusen's comment about me trying to make you like me was true. But who doesn't try to be nice a liked? It seems silly to try to anger people right off the bat and not try to get them to like you.

I should have researched the site more I admit. I was lead to believe this was a type of forum community, like conceptart, or sijun, or other artist locations I frequent, rather than … the type of site it is. I'd be glad to use the oekaki tools and learn more about you all. It just seemed I was instantly getting on people's bad side, and I didn't want to waste the time. I don’t frequent many places for lack of it.

I hope this makes sense, and I certainly do not wish to come off as spineless or a trouble maker, and definitely not someone just seeking ass-pats or attention. I just wanted to make some artist friends. In my job I often get my art attacked quite enthusiastically, but no one ever calls me a jack ass. I hope that makes sense how I might have taken it personally. In any event, thanks and lets just let this thread die. I’ll finish exploring the site tonight and see if I can make a better impression.

Man, I gotta do something with that page, I've not looked at it in ages. X_x But I still talk to a great number of friends from elfwood, especially from back in the day. I don't even remember my password there anymore. =] I'd like to note, since I just now saw it, that the link on my elfwood page wasn't the plug I was given, nor is it even by the same person for that matter X_x Maybe it is because I used to have some oekaki images on the site. I drew a few today but didn't save them. Trying to learn the tools.
