Lovely. Seeing cardinals always makes me miss our home back east. We had them nesting in the back yard. Every evening and morning the male would perch on the top of the roof and serenade his lady. (or else he was hurling invective at any potential rivals...or both?) I did a stained glass window that looks almost exactly like your drawing :-)

With the wintery feeling of this it would make a stunning Christmas card. (nice job on establishing distance with the blurred BG, too.)
