Fish can be so beautiful, as this one certainly must be in person. Your drawing of him has that sort of translucsent quality fish have , and I don't know how you managed to draw that so well. Beautiful
I've wanted one of these for my aquarium but it is only 1 year old and I'm like you, not willing to put it in an environment that is almost certain death for the fish. Beautiful fish, beautiful drawing!

If you want to finish it you could try asking the mods for more space...or just crop the bottom part off for your own collection.
I too am a saltwater enthusiast! I have never kept a mandarin, but I have keept the Scooter Blenny which is basically the same thing but uglier. My tank is bountiful with copepods; alas, he did not make it for some reason (about 5 months). I have had to swear off the copepod eaters.
