I'm chickenmonster on Gaia. ^^
Difference: Greatly
"Chibi is a noun originated in the Japanese language to describe a short person or child."
"In Western fanfiction a chibi is a child, baby, or toddler-like version of an anime or manga character, who is older in the original series."
A chibi, in my terms, would be a more fun or comical character of the original.
Honestly, it would be pure ignorance to say I was a 13 year old pedophile.
Its just a drawing. Calm down.
No need to rant on and on about the definition of 'Chibi', and how I draw things. It does not effect you, nor does it effect me much. Because honestly, I'm cracking up at the amount of detail your putting into something simple.
She's not naked, she's not defiling anything, and she is certainly not posing in a horrible manner. She's smiling, and waving.
You are the only one thinking of it in a horrible way, and therefore it is your responsibilty to accept your own thoughts.
The reason I pointed out the definition of "Chibi" is because you didn't seem to understand what the word actually means. I found it ironic that you were telling me that the difference between a child and the japanese word for child was "greatly."
My main point is that this picture looks like a child in a skimpy leather outfit, which I think is grossly inappropriate. If you're going to have a character dressed like that, go for an even more abstracted super-deformed style, or at least something that looks less like an adolescent.
I'll tell you this now, so we can stop this debate: It was not my intention to create something that could get a reaction this great.
Kind of interesting, what with all the religious cartoon hoodaddy.
