Hehe. Well I guess just about everyone uses that title, but I'm not leaving. It has recently come to my attention that many new people have come to 2Draw! Although that is a thing to be happy about, I noticed that many of them (not mentioning names) draw pictures that are not as advanced as many of the people here and then say many of the advanced/intermediate peoples' drawings stink or they act like they know everything and critique(sp) them about every little thing. I was just wondering if those people that think/know they are doing this to please stop because it hurts many peoples' feelings and I along with many others want 2Draw to be a fun, nice place to draw with a friendly enviornment.

Please don't get mad at me, marcello and other people! I just wanted to bring that to your attention if you don't mind...*gulp* *runs away*

Erm...I'd say "I've noticed that too," and I have, but I dunno if I'm considered one of those 'new people' or not. So I shall sit here quietly, and be confused about that most recent Turkey girl picture.

Well, I did mention that only if you are rude to people and you are not rude and you are also a good artist! So it doesn't apply to you, VisceralVamp! =D

Thanks! I'm never sure what's being rude or not...I usually try to be relatively nice about things. -___-

I have also noticed that. I have kinda been spamming I was bored but I stopped.

I hope it's not me! I've been told I've been spamming...which I didn't mean to...and I know I'm not exactly, you know, good, so I try not to act all high and mighty when I comment...well, anyway, I agree with you, and I'll be sure to keep on my toes and not be rude at all, not to mention posting a lot less...eeee.

Ugh I really should have never commented on the special peoples board...poo!

Xodiak (edited Jun 20, 2003)
There should be a "Non C&C" board! Hehehe that is a silly joke! >;D
However, although criticism helps if done with a friendly and not mean way, I believe that art can be mastered by practicing it. I believe it is more helpful for someone to watch another drawing than read a criticism comment. >:)
Of course, board rules should be respected. >:p

GEM and Taori and Knockoff: Personally, I think if it's on the practice boards, it's not spam. The more you draw the better. That's how you get better at it. You keep practicing. But I'm no expert or anything...
OneWingedMoo9se: It's ok if you comment on the special people's board! Your not exactly a newbie, in my perspective. Newbies are (in my opinion) people that have just joined and they're ID's are like 2300-2500 or whatever. It goes up when more people join.
Xod: Yeah, I believe there should be a "Non C&C" board! For all the people that like to pick fights and go completely out of their way to be rude! lol

Thanks for supporting me on this, guys and gals! Even though I am not a great artist...only on paper.... Thanks again!

O_o This is a weird post.. You're not leaving but complaining... I'm getting confused.. ><;;;;

my suggestion would be, if you don't want c&c simply say that you don't. then if something happens maybe you might want to tell a moderator to remove a post or something.

OR you could always ignore someone's comment... it's not like you are forced to read someone's post and you don't have to take things personally.

Kazukie: It is possible to complain but not leave something completely, right?
method3: most of the time I ignore impolite or rude comments. I just think that some people are being way too harsh sometimes. Please don't kill me!

if they are being too harsh, just reply and say "i think you are being too harsh" or something. you can always inform us of who you're talking about right? at least let them know that it's THEM you're talking about so they can figure out what they're doing wrong.
